You still have until Friday night at Midnight to enter for the blog candy. You can read about the rules and enter HERE. I’m thoroughly enjoying reading your b-list items — I hope you read some of the others too!!
The Magnolia-licious Design Team has a challenge to do each month and this month Diana challenged us to do a Wiper Card! I’ve never done one before and it was kinda neat. For my card I used the sweet little Dinner Tilda with Valentine Papers from K&Co. The stand up part of the wiper says "Be Mine" Also since I’m in the flower making mood, I found a super tutorial over at Crafts by Rach that shows how to make these flowers. I’ve had a bottle of Glimmer Mist forever and I never seem to reach for it. Well this little flower and Glimmer Mist thing might get addicting *wink*.
Not as much as in real life, but you can see a hint of the sparkle :-) Pop over to the Magnolia Highlites Blog to see that cards made by the other Design Team members. If you want to try your hand at it you can make your own wiper card and upload it to the Magnolia Highlights Blog by February 28th in order to be in the running for a prize. The details are HERE.
Card Recipe:
Stamps: Magnolia Stamps through Magnolia-licious, #388 Dinner Tilda
Paper: K &Co – Lovely, Bazzill
Ink: Memento Black Tuxedo
Accessories: Copic Markers, Twine, Ribbon, Buttons, Pearls, EK Success Paper Shaper – Retro Flower Large, EK Success Paper Shaper – Retro Flower Small, Martha Stewart Leaf Punch, EK Success Round Punch, Martha Stewart Heart Punch, Martha Stewart Heart Border Punch
I must say that it’s taking me a little bit longer than I thought to produce the video for the Woven Lattice Background. I put a lot of hours into it yesterday but the tutorial length is too long and and frame is simply not that hard, just lots of steps. I’ll continue to work on it and just so you know I can just about do that weaving with my eyes closed now. It’s coming soon, I pinky promise :-)
what a cute card love the magnolia stamps- will have to get some soon -another thing on my bucket list would be to organize my craft room how I want it with the cupboards that I have designed.ReplyCancel
Hi Becca,
Your card is beautiful!!! Love all of the lovely details.
Thank you for the tutuorial by Rach on how to make the flowers as well :o)

I am one of the guilty ones that is obsessed with your blog, I look at your site several times a day and am disappointed when you don’t have a new card daily. You have had me thinking on my bucket list and todays list item would be to lose the 40 pounds I have gained within the last 18 months. My husband has had some serious health issues and I eat for comfort.ReplyCancel

Becca,
WOW!!!! That’s a beautiful creation. I’m going to have to try
a wiper card. Don’t you love trying something new? Fun, fun, fun.
Love your card. Your work is amazing. Another thing on my bucket list is to try and visit with my brothers and sister. Have not seen them in over thirty years. This is just something I need to do before it is to late.ReplyCancel
Hi Becca. I came to see what you have been up to lately – as I often do and was totally shocked! You and I both posted a hearts card on the same day/morning with similar details; hearts BG, adorable girl, MS punched white heart side border, ribbon… Holy Moly! how does that happen? And of course mine is amateurish compared to your elegant and stunning and oh-so-fabulous creation, but stilll…. it sure made me feel awesome to find that we had done this. WOW! You are one of my card idols and so this totally blew me away GF! heheh.ReplyCancel

Day Four – and I wake up to find another beautiful card from you. Delightful. I didn’t know how to make a ‘wiper card’ and now I do! Thanks.
Another item on my ‘bucket list’ is to travel to and visit the town where I was born. My father was stationed in Charleston, South Carolina during WWII and I was born there in 1945; after the war we moved to my parent’s home town in Ohio and that’s where I lived until I met my husband and moved to Indiana. I’ve never been back to Charleston and now’s the time to do that.
Just a suggestion about the video: You could do it in two parts!ReplyCancel

Day 4…… Becca, you’ve done it again, another masterpiece . This is the cutest card! I’ll have to try the swiper card, you made it look do-able. And this was the first swiper you’ve made? Girl, are you good! For the B-list, In my family over the last several months, several close elderly relatives have lost their spouses. I plan to be very busy visiting them. taking goodies to them, calling them, running errands for them, etc. You know, just helping to fill their time and hopefully ease their loneliness a little. I know it’s so hard for them, they had been married for such a long time. I just want them to never forget that they are sooo loved! Thank you again for a chance to win the cool candy. Blessings! I saw this quote on somebody’s signoff. It went something like this: “May we live long enough to use our supplies”. Tomorrow I will be 51 years “young”. I guess that means I would have to grow as old as Methuselah! So, I guess my wish would be that I use more use of the supplies I DO have!
Since I missed one day, I would add an bucket list wish that my husband and I are able to find jobs this year. (Ditto on the last poster’s comment)
Anyhow, that would make a lovely birthday present to win the blog candy!
Another one of my B-list items was checked off today. I cooked an NEW meal everyday this week. Some were winners and Some were losers. But it was fun trying something new.

I would so love to see the Northern Lights. I cannot imagine what that would be like. They are amazing in photographs. That would be such a wonderful experience.
I was excited to cross off another B-List item!!! I was able to help out a neighbor…We live in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and we are currently experiencing the Largest snow fall we have ever seen!!! Our schools closed on Thursday and no school on Friday. Due to the snow and ice and freezing temp. a lot of us are not able to leave our driveways due to the ice. For some reason (I park in my garage) I was able to leave my driveway and pick up the kiddos from school. Most of my neighbors were not. So I was “bus driver” driving back and forward picking up kids from school and taking them home…since their parents were not able to drive.

Wonderful tutorial! We must be on the same wavelength. I was out at the store on Saturday and picked up a roll of pink crepe paper. I had no idea what I was going to do with it, but it just looked so pretty. Subconsciously I must and been channeling you – LOL!
Your crepe paper flower is so cute. I have some black and gold crepe paper yet in the cupboard from our girls’ high school graduation. I’m going to have to give this a try. Email Grace at: gnywening@yahoo.com and give her the secret words you found in the correct order . . . . they will spell out a Scripture verse.
For an extra chance to win, send her another email telling her the Scripture reference where the verse can be found.
If for any reason a link is broken, simply return to the Our Daily Bread Designs Blog to see who is next on the list, leaving a space for the missing words. Most often if you can’t get on a blog or leave a comment now…. if you wait a little while and try again you usually can.
The design is finshed off with ribbon and a vintage button.

I love how you used a song as a background for this new verse. Thanks for the great idea.ReplyCancel
I love how rich this piece of yours looks. I love the back ground paper. It looks like all 4 corners go to the middle…where the verse is located. The antique colored sheet-music adds a touch to this that I feel when I walk in to a very old church. The pews can almost feel all of the generations who have used them.
Your bow is beautiful and seems to wrap itself all the way around this special gift…These words inspired by Him.
I always love the beauty and soft look you give to any stamp set and this one is no exception. BeautifulReplyCancel

what a cute card love the magnolia stamps- will have to get some soon -another thing on my bucket list would be to organize my craft room how I want it with the cupboards that I have designed.
Hi Becca,
Your card is beautiful!!! Love all of the lovely details.
Thank you for the tutuorial by Rach on how to make the flowers as well :o)
Hugs, Candy
very lovely!
Another bucket list item…would be to finally be happy with ME.
I am one of the guilty ones that is obsessed with your blog, I look at your site several times a day and am disappointed when you don’t have a new card daily. You have had me thinking on my bucket list and todays list item would be to lose the 40 pounds I have gained within the last 18 months. My husband has had some serious health issues and I eat for comfort.
Day 4 already! My b-list reminds me today to work on getting myself into better shape physically. That means exercise and diet are begging for my attention.
Becky E.
Your cards are so beautiful. My bucket list item would be to visit Yosemite. I would like to make it a trip for two couples but that is awlays hard with work schedules.
I want to be able to build the dream craft room and be fully organized.
I just love visiting your site, and all the wonderful inspiration you post. One other thing on my bucket list is to one day begin to organize all those closets that I have some many tucked away in, and to purge!!!
Kit
My bucket list includes purging. I am a downsized preschool teacher and have a basement full of books and activity things in boxes used for teaching. I am going to donate it to a local school to enhance their supplies.I have been donating items a bit at a time.
ok, having her sit on some little branches that lead to your flower is just clever, I never know what to perch her on.
This is totally cute Becca, the whole package. Even your cute cards are done to perfection in an elegant way. I love the button embellishments. Another thing for my bucket list is to use my supplies before I buy more and to actually complete some of my mini- albums. TFS!!! : )
Becca,
WOW!!!! That’s a beautiful creation. I’m going to have to try
a wiper card. Don’t you love trying something new? Fun, fun, fun.
Hugs,
~~Diane~~
Love your card. Your work is amazing. Another thing on my bucket list is to try and visit with my brothers and sister. Have not seen them in over thirty years. This is just something I need to do before it is to late.
WOW! You are one of my card idols and so this totally blew me away GF! heheh.
Beautiful card — love her sitting on the string. After reading the comments above I have to agree with so many of them. But the one that hit home first was to be happy with me. I think that should move to the top of the list.
Love love love your wiper card! i have to try that!
yes, i have been reading other b-list entries and getting great ideas to add to my list!
you have lovely followers
another item on my list is to learn a second language
thank you Becca!
I’ve enjoyed reading other’s bucket lists items.
Just a suggestion about the video: You could do it in two parts!
Day 3 for me: I love everything that you make.
I would like to take better care of myself, so I can enjoy my grandchildren when they come.
I am enjoying reading all of the comments!
Oh! How cute! I would live closer to my children and grandchildren. Boy, do I miss them.
My that card looks hard to make, you’ve created a beauty! Love it!
beautiful card, becca. i thought you might be taking a vacation this week with you blog contest going but i’m glad to see your still creating.
What an adorable card luving this snow day plan on blogging all day!!!
Becca, she is absolutely adorable. I need to get some of those cuties.
Fab project too!!
one of my scrapping bucket list goals has been to be daring enough to submit for publication.
In my bucket today is a wish to become more “fit”..this is something I seem to neglect on a regular basis.
Adorable card! Another thing on my list is to get up to date on my kids’ scrapbooks. I’m a long way from it, but it gives me something to work towards.
Beautiful card.
Totally awesome card Becca,
thank you again for your wonderful inspiration!
A bucket list is something that always exist for people and they never really realize it. You always have something you plan to do in the future. Just the other night arter the super bowl, My husband and I were talking about we had always wanted to go to Bourbon Street. So thats being pulled out of my bucket list—Go visit Bourbon Street.
I see you like pink too and use it a lot,, pink is the perfect color for these girly cards, adorable and you do such a wonderful job on them.
Hmmmm, thinking of old saying, a thing of beauty is a joy forever and must admit on more than one occasion when I visit your site, view your creations…I end of saying OMG, just look at this. Now if I am enrolled and perhaps win…. will it be possible for me to create something delightful…do hope so. Have a beautiful day, my dear..Dottie
I’d like to hold a child who can’t remember what it feels like to be wrapped in another’s embrace.
Okay, b-list #4: live more simply. Downsize, organize, maintain, prioritize.
(But can I still have the blog candy??? I promise to purge something old to make room for it! LOL!)
I love your card, as usual. This little Magnolia thing could be habit-forming. She is just so sweet and innicent looking that you just want to pinch her chubby cheeks!
Love your creations – I watch for them every day. My b-list starts and ends with downsizing and getting rid of all the things I really don’t need. Now I just have to figure out how to find the time to do that !
Love this..your attention to all the details is unbelievable.. and this is your first wiper card..well done!!!!
A gorgeous card, as always, Becca. Hmmmm—– b-list ——- get the organizing finished in my stamp area. When I work on it, I always find something to distract me and end up creating instead of cleaning!
Love the wiper card. It inspires me to try making one myself.
My b-list for today would be to take a slow train across Canada from coast to coast.
Becca, wonderful card and really enjoyed the opportunity to see how the flower is made.
My bucket list today is to stay on my diet. this is day two! Happy day. Jean
Post #4….bucket list…to go to Paris……(not Paris Tennessee either lol)
I love your card……will have to check out that flowers tech….
Love the details.
My bucket list is very long, but I think I’ll start with letting you know that I’ve been a stay at home mom for a very long time, with only one income I didn’t allow myself a whole lot of fun stuff, but now that my husband is retired and our home is finally paid off, I’m taking classes from anyone, that interests me and the # 1 on the bucket list was to go to a painters convention, I did it last April, and have thought, well that wasn’t so bad, I can do it again, so I’m off to Virginia this year to Art and Soul. can’t wait. Love your card, and anxiously awaiting your tutorial.
Very Cute! I like the little heart edge.
Jan Castle
Becca, Can you believe it, I had to turn 50 to get my first Magnolia Stamp!! I have a incredible group of friends and they got together and gave me my first Magnolia Stamp and Copic Markers….I guess I can cross that off of the bucket list!!! Now I just need to learn how to use them. Love the card…keep them coming! Teresa
Another Bucket List is to actually “spend” time with my daughters. They are growing up so fast and I want to enjoy them.
Valeire

Sooo Cute. I am new to viewing sites like this. I am so grateful for finding yours. Your cards and other items are impeccably done. My goal is to make more time to do what I love, put a little more flair in my creativity and encourage others to do the same.
What a wonderful Idea, I especially love the K&Co papers and Tilda is just beautiful. I especially love how you have used the heart border.
Cute card!!! My bucket list would include re-designing my craft room (again) and remembering to be grateful for having one. It’s not big; the former nursery for my daughter, but it’s very much mine and I can shut the door anytime I’m not finished and find it all in the same place when I return.
WOW! This is stunning! I love it!!
Becca, this is exquisite. I love every single element, although I am a bit terrified to try a wiper card! Sounds hard. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful creation with us.

Blessings! Good evening, Becca – such a cute card. I’ve seen these wiper cards around but have never tried to make one – must put that on my To Do List.
Another thing on my b ucket list would be to be totally organized in my craft room and keep it that way.
Sweet card Becca. Thank you for sharing these wonderful cards with all of us. You do have a generous spirit.
My ‘Bucket List’ today is probably like most crafters: Go through my stuff and weed out and get rid of some things I have been saving so I can be more organized.

For now, the last thing on my BL is to find a job this year. My husband is losing his job at the end of the year.
Cyndee
Another one of my B-list items was checked off today. I cooked an NEW meal everyday this week. Some were winners and Some were losers. But it was fun trying something new.
Valerie
Day 5 (? – I’ve lost count, LOL)
I would so love to see the Northern Lights. I cannot imagine what that would be like. They are amazing in photographs. That would be such a wonderful experience.
Thanks so much, Becca!
