It’s a circle!  It’s a square!  It’s a circle in a square!  This little template weighs in at 4″ x 4″ and packs a powerful punch with the ability to use each of the elements for a whole host of cards.  This month we are tickled to share Elegant Infinity.

As always the rims make this die set so very versatile.  Elegant Infinity was designed for the circle to be included or not included.  I designed it so that it could have an intricate center or not.  It was also designed so that the corners are scaled to fit inside (trim corner) leaving one line width open for the die-cut words.  I hope you love all the options!

Here are the dies included in the set:

My Card Today

I love creating cards with staggered elements.  Once you lay them out, the juxtaposition between motifs always creates intrigue.  I played around with the motifs quite a bit and then came up with some many different combinations.  I’m sharing one of my favorites.  It made for a very easy card with a very visible die cut sentiment.  Isn’t there someone in your life that just needs to know that you miss them?  It was well work the hour that it took me to create the card :-)

Of course, I love ensembles.  It is always very easy to add a custom box to match your card and I love to do just that.  For this box, it was simple to add the square motif to the top.  Now to gussy up the sides I simply snipped the motif out of the die and glued it to the side of the box, which is so do-able! :-)

Amazing Paper Grace March 2020 Die of the Month - Elegant Infinity - learn about this die at www.amazingpapergrace.com/?p=35940
Hello Gracelets!!  This month’s die of the month is elegant, and versatile and falls smack dab in the middle of my signature style.  Welcome this month to Elegant Infinity and the Elegant Infinity video linked below.  The rings were an integral part of the design and we adjusted and tweaked them until we got them just right!!  Speaking of signature style, I have a burning question for you about just that at the bottom of my post.

Inspiration for Elegant Infinity

I so love a die that can be used for many things and I think this month’s die doesn’t disappoint.  The main motif for this die is 4″ which means that even A4 peeps can use it.  In the larger scheme of things, it makes a beautiful center that fits well in the center of a 5.5″ or 6.0″ square card.  Here are some of the many ways the die can be cut:

I would love it if you would weigh in here to leave me a comment and let me know, what’s your signature style?

A.  I’m mainly a classic card maker, but do some other styles.
B.  I’m mainly a cutesy card maker, but do some other styles.
C.  I’m mainly a clean and simple card maker, but do some other styles.
D.  I’m mainly an interactive card maker, but do some other styles.
E.  I’m a combo – rank them in the order you create most of.

If I answer this question, believe it or not, I’m an E (combo) here is how I create A, D, B, C.

Why would I ask this….?  Well, I’m getting ready to start designing for 2021 and I’m curious to know if you like classic over interactive?  Clean over cute?

Thanks so much for stopping by, see you soon!!

GORGEOUS WORK, Becca! I can’t wait to see what other ways to use this GORGEOUS DIE & for it to arrive!!! LOVE what you’ve done with it already!!! ;)

I am with you, I am an E (Combo) type of card maker. In the order of: A, D, C, & B. It REALLY depends on the mood I’m in, & the occasion too! (I LOVE to color- Water Color, Colored Pencils, etc., FLORALS! So, when I make cards, I enjoy integrating them into my card making. Yes, even with your GORGEOUS DIES!)ReplyCancel

  • Germayne Turner NashMarch 2, 2020 - 12:27 pm

I’m an E too. If I had to rank the choices, I’d say I don’t normally do interactive cards at all and probably prefer clean and simple.ReplyCancel

  • Twin CrafterMarch 2, 2020 - 12:31 pm

You always have beautiful designs! My style is pretty much classic. I have started CAS cards but that empty space always begs me to be filled somehow ;)ReplyCancel

  • Barb P.March 2, 2020 - 12:35 pm

    I’m an E – A, D.
I LOVE your dies! I mainly make A4 size cards so dies that fit that size are what I look for.ReplyCancel

    Hi, Becca,
I’m blown away by your creativity…you’re a dynamo! It’s delightful being a “Gracelet”. After all these years, it is still exciting to have a front row seat to all your innovation, productivity and love for elegant beauty. I really appreciate your thoughtfulness and desire to meet all of us where we are. In response to your query, my preferences would be exactly like yours. I love interactive cards but their style is classic. I made a birthday card last week using your new shutter dies and Graphic 45 Floral Shoppe papers…oo, so pretty. I’ll share soon.
    Love & blessings, SandyReplyCancel

  • Jan MMarch 2, 2020 - 3:04 pm

Mostly an A. Almost never cutesy or simple and clean. I like adding classic to interactive occasionally. This is one of the reasons I subscribe to your die of the month. They usually suit my taste of feminine.ReplyCancel

  • christi nealMarch 2, 2020 - 3:12 pm

I am more of a classic card maker. interactive as in with moving parts is too much thinking involved. cutesie is too trendy for me. although every now and then something strikes my fancy. I wish my cas was better but I like layers.ReplyCancel

I too am an E. I am addicted to dies. I always go to them first. I’d say my creativity goes to A, C, D, and occasionally B. I like interactive cards but need more time to construct them. And I only have a niece and nephew I make the cutesy cards.ReplyCancel

  • Jan E BrummettMarch 2, 2020 - 10:47 pm

BACKGROUND: I have loved your timeless elegant style since I started making cards about 2 yrs. ago and signed up for APGDOM from the start. I would say I have about 90% of dies available from you during this two years. I also have started collecting a few of your glimmer plates, even though I don’t have the Glimmer Hot Foil System yet – saving up.

STYLE: I too am an E (combo) here is how I create D, A, B, C. Honestly this does vary with mood and recently I have gotten into making more flowers after watching several of your videos not sure what category this is.

What I Use the Most: I adore the 3D Vignette Mini Album Collection dies, 3D Interactive Pivot Banner (I use this a lot), Cabinets and Inserts and All Occasion Sentiments Stamp and Die Set are a staples. Hope there are more inserts in our future – Maybe drop in sentiments would be nice. Doilies have gotten a real workout lately, How about some 3D embossing folders to go with the dies. Also would appreciate more sentiments in different script styles.

Thanks for asking for our input and hope you have fun creating your future products. I know I am excited to see your new designs. You are very talented! Good Luck…ReplyCancel

I think I am also and E….. in order of A, C, B, and D. I have different moods and that means different styles depending on how I feel. Also depends on who I am sending the card to…

  • Jen AMarch 13, 2020 - 11:16 am

I’m an E too – A, B, C. Love your new dies. How about an add-on set of filigree decorative panel dies for the charming cottage gift box (that you could add or cut-in to the sides). The rose from the flourished fretwork release would be a great panel as well as a filigree tulip panel. Your designs are fantastic and it is a shame the monthly die is not really an option for me in the UK.ReplyCancel

3D Vignettes

3D Vignettes were introduced almost 2 years ago and along the journey, our readers have begged us not to abandon the concept but to keep adding on.  As always, your wish is our command!  Introducing 3D Vignette Mini-Albums.   When the first 3D Vignettes came out, we fashioned them into mini albums using the familiar side piece and slots but now we’ve made it permanent with a Universal Hinge.  Plus we’ve added a whole collection of dies you can use inside the mini-album including two new shaped card profiles and a new Cinch and Go Cottage Bloom Flower that can be used as a dimensional flower or a flat flower inside the mini-album.  Stay tuned as you see a mini-album from each Creative Team Member and card that highlights one of the dies used in the mini-album.

3D-Vignette Mini Albums

When the response to the first 3D Vignette cards turned into mini albums blog hop brought such a positive response, readers asked for more.  So I designed an easy to fold Universal Hinge that makes it easy to convert your 3D Vignette cards into  Mini Albums.  I tried to stay true to my mix and match budget sensibility, of course, so all of the elements of this new collection can be used to make flat cards, can be used with original 3D Vignette designs, and older 3D Vignette dies can be refreshed and used with the mini-albums.

Best of all, if you have ever been too overwhelmed to create a mini-album or a scrapbook page, take heart.  Since your choices are mix and match, we’ve taken all of the guess work out.  The small format is card-sized which makes it doable for those of you accustomed to working on a small card size project.  We’ve made albums that are tiny up to 6 x 6″ and 8 x 8″.

Our projects today are embellished with my newest Cinch and Go Flower, S4-1045 Sweet Cottage Blooms.  It is designed to work up as a dimensional flower and as a flat flower that fits into the albums

My Mini Album For Today

For my project today I made a sweet with mini-album that includes most of the dies from the collection.  I filled it with pockets and places that you can tuck things.

You started the vignettes and inserts about the same time I started making cards – and I adore the addition of the mini albums. It is so much fun mixing and matching your dies; but the mini albums make it so easy for all of us who have challenges able to make cards & albums. Thanks for your creations and hope this year provides us more along these lines. What a wonderful talent you have!!ReplyCancel

  • MaryH.January 22, 2020 - 3:25 pm

I continue to be excited about the vignette dies and look forward to more inserts and accent dies. I went out and purchased the mini album dies right away and made my first album. Your dies certainly made it easy and the recipient loved the album! Would love more of the flower dies too.ReplyCancel

You know, I just made a mini album for a friend who’s aunt just turned 100. She lives in Ireland. It brought tears to her eyes. Little did she know how much more beautiful it could have been with these exquisite diea. I wish I could have every single one of them. I’d be set for life. Thanks Becca.
