Tracey Sabella picked a shabby palette of colors for her gorgeous creation using Tiara Trifold.

In addition, just check out how cleverly she crafted the panel into a foldover type envelope – stunning!

This format lends itself well to making a gatefold card.  And, that’s exactly what Joanna Wisniewska did.  Embellished with both lattice and the flower dies makes it a dreamy combination.  Jump over to her blog for more pictures.

Clean and elegant is the style of the day for Kathy Jo Wood.  With a beautiful bow and carefully placed embellishments, this card would be just as much at home for a wedding, sympathy, a birthday or simply to say hello!   shopping road trip.

Patricia Manhire created a sweetly cheerful yellow slimline card. I’m totally inspired by how she used the main motif and lattice to make a double-ended motif – very clever! Her card just whispers spring and cheer!!  You must pop over to Patricia’s blog to see what else she made!

Rajni Chawla created a spectacular ensemble and if you have followed Rajni, you know that she creates beautiful and extensive ensembles.  Starting out with an elegant box that is simply icing on the cake when presented with the stunning box below:

A beautiful, textured box with a double-ended motif, is large enough for a gift or to her card.  The card is spectacular – it has no less than 7 panels and is a must see.  All of the parts of this ensemble can be seen on Rajni’s blog.

Kate Skonieczna created a beautifully elegant card with a host of layers!  The texture of each layer is harmonious with the other and makes her design just so unique.

Kate also made a sweet little box with a ribbon handle!

Agnieska Posluszny knows how to use design paper!  Her use of the floral paper behind the lattice makes her garden come to life! On her blog you can see the detail of how she uses the lattice alone as the front panel to a gorgeous 4 panelled card.

Katarzyna Bobrowska created a wonderful mini album from the die.  If you are wondering exactly how to create a closure for a six panelled mini-album like Katarzyna – be sure to stop by her blog for a look.

That’s it for our inspiration this month!!  Each month the Amazing Paper Grace Creative Team takes a Die of the Month and a new Die Collection and spins out unique creations that will give you a leg up when you sit down at the table to create.

Hi friends, the month of June started off with a bang and I wanted to dip in and show you some of the makes by my fabulous Creative Team (Links to all at the bottom of my post).  It’s amazing, when you give a die like the Pop Up 3D Vignette Road Trip Car to a group of different people, the lovely different things they come up with.  The team ran with the ball on this one and created some delightful creations full of whimsy.

Look at the clever way Joanna Wisniewska used the round element for the tire as balloons.  Joanna shared that this beauty is going to her daughter on her birthday.

The punch of color with the yellow jalopy done by Agnieska Posluszny just screams, “Jump in Me” for a ride.

Tracey Sabella is a fantastic mixed media artist.  We watch in wonder every month as she takes elements I design as elegant and ages them to perfection.  This decrepit, rusted-out junker has a beautiful patina.  I can just imagine it was found in the back of a junkyard.

Kathy Jo Wood is a new Amazing Paper Grace Creative Team designer.  You can look at her bio HERE and I hope you’ll follow her on all her social media channels.  This was her first creation with us and she had me at “PINK”.  She and her bestie are down for a shopping road trip.

I love it that Kate Skonieczna showed how easy it is to pop her creation into an envelope.  I would love to see the look on the face of the recipient when they open and pop it up.

Kate also made a conventional front view with a wedding theme.  This car is so whimsical and is bound to be the unique creation in the pile.

Katarzyna Bobrowska served up a glittery creation this week.  To make a small-footed card she took an A7 background and folded it in half to make the perfect base for her card.

Framed so cleverly by an A7 background frame, Robin Clendenning created a full-size A7 card in brilliant blue.  It almost looks like it’s driving right out of the page!

Rajni Chawla created a spiffy roadster in red.  The pop of red against the white background makes the car absolutely sing.  More brilliantly, she shows how easy it is to make this into a slimline profile.

Patricia Manhire blended pastel tones for a sweet, soft ride.  Patricia is the flower queen so of course her car is embellished with the perfect spray of flowers across the front.  It’s the perfect embellishment for the perfect car.

That’s a wrap!!  Each month the Amazing Paper Grace Creative Team takes a Die of the Month and a new Die Collection and spins out unique creations that will give you a leg up when you sit down to the table to create.  They excel at creating 3D items and embellishments from flat dies with the most unexpected creations.

Wow; I am inspired by these wonderful creations. I love the variety of the cards and card bases. The Sunday & Truck series is so much fun and I never tire of using them. Alway enjoy looking at what you and your team make.

As I have not been able to find this type of die, I would like to suggest that you consider making a series of tags that are (1) incremental in size – at least 3 different incremental sizes that can be stacked or used independently; (2) slight curved; (3) double-fish tail. It would be nice to have to be able to cut all in one pass and have matching stencils that would let you color all three (or more) tag outlines with dots, stitches or a solid line. Another accessory could be a glimmer plate that would do the same as a stencil. This way you could stencil or glimmer selected outline and then cut out all in one pass. And of course we would need a set of stamps and/or glimmer sentiments to fit each size. Thanks for the consideration!ReplyCancel

Buckle up, Buttercup!  Are you ready for a new Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month?  This one has been in the works for a couple of years, just waiting for the right time.  Have a look at the Pop-up 3D Vignette Road Trip!   So cute!  Today’s sample show a Just Married Road Trip but think about all the possibilities – New Car, Girl’s Road Trip, New Graduate, Off to College, Vacation, New Job, Enjoy the Journey.  There are many dies to personalize this showcase card but keep in mind you make make it as simple or as detailed as you like.

Some links may be affiliate links, buying products through these links generates a commission at no cost to you.

The Die of the Month comes with a full instruction sheet that shows you how to stack the dies to cloth the people, how to add on hair, and how to build the car.  Mine in the samples is decked out, but the embossed detail on this set gives you the option of keeping it simple.  It’s so sweet that this folds flat to go into an envelope.  Because I love embellishment, I added a bow and a flower onto the back of the car.  Here is a view of the card above, from the back side.

The Inspiration for the 3D Vignette Road Trip

Road Trip was inspired by a cute sticker given to me by a friend.  Even though it was a flat presentation, I felt I could turn it into a 3D Car.  I so wanted the option of a convertible that would house children with their hands in the air catching wind as if they were on the down slope of an exciting roller coaster ride.  It absolutely brings a smile every time I put one of these together! It’s really a delightful crafty time.

More Inspiration for the 3D Vignette Road Trip

There were quite a few different pieces made for the Road Trip ensemble.  These were coordinated pieces for a wedding.  The piece below is a card you would give to Newlyweds. The Circle Meets Square makes a gorgeous background.
