Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken using Spellbinders Corners and Accents One - www.amazingpapergrace.com
Good morning friends.  I’m so tickled to be back for Day of Giving Friday with a new card!  I’m a little late with my post today, but I have delightful company at my house and I hope you’ll forgive that each morning we are sitting on the porch in our pajamas lingering over our coffee – loving every minute of fall.  I brought my Mother back with me and there’s lots of catching up going on – a true blessing at a good time for both of us.

In going through my bin of cards I discovered a card I had not shown before and the sentiment is so positive and so, so appropriate.    I hope you won’t mind, but there are not many specifics to give on the supplies used other than the paper is Graphic45 and the sweet flourish over top of the ladies is Spellbinders Corners & Accents One (an embellishing die that never fails me :-)).  That stunning sentiment is one from a Tim Holtz collection.Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken using Spellbinders Corners and Accents One - www.amazingpapergrace.com
Since today is Day of Giving Friday, you can win this card by leaving a comment.  If you are new to my blog – you can find out more about Day of Giving on my FAQ List at #11.

For your comment today, what’s a lovely memory or cherished routine you associate with fall?  For me, the sky seems bluer and the air seems so crisp and full of hope.  I love those first fleeting signs that the seasons have changed – a walk in the morning chill is a cherished routine and makes me appreciate the beauty in changing seasons.  How about you?

For me it is the memories of going to the woods with my father and cutting wood for our fireplace for the winter. Seeing the beautiful changing of the leaves and smelling the wonderful smell of fall and pine leaves. My father is gone however; just the smells alone bring him back.

    thanks for sharing.ReplyCancel

    This is a stunning card!
When I was little, I woukd run around our neighborhood collecting the different colored leaves in the fall. As I’d collect them, I’d put them in a bread bag my mom had ready for me. When I had one full, I’d bring it home and rub my fingers through the leaves and look at all tge colorsReplyCancel

Hi Becca, I have not been on your blog for a long time as we have sold our villa here in Spain and have rented an apartment nearby .the disadvantage is that we no longer have Internet and so have been out of touch.
I got a shock this morning when I read about your brother Ben having passed on,my sincere condolences Becca and also for the rest of the family.
My heart goes out to your mother as it must be devastating to loose one of your children. Please Becca give her a big hug from me and I shall have you all in my prayers tonight. Bless you all.

Now about your last few cards ,they are gorgeous and the sentiment on today’s card is very appropriate!
How nice that your mother is staying with you and you are enjoying this important time together.

At the moment we are staying in a hotel in Benidorm as I had to see the cardiologist for a half yearly checkup, all is well and I can catchup with my mails and blogs.
Leaving Sunday ,I will have to find an Internet cafe near where we now live to keep in touch with everyone.
Take care Becca, big hug ,love Jane B. From SpainReplyCancel

Have a wonderful time with your mother and enjoy precious time together.
    What a pretty card!
My favourite autumn memories are of the times we took our children back to Jesus College, Cambridge where the grounds have many, many huge Horse Chestnut trees and where we were blessed to be able to park under the beautiful falling leaves. As the students were not too interested in collecting them, the children had the pick of the huge glossy brown conkers, bursting from their prickly cases. The look on their faces as they found scores of ‘treasures’ was priceless.

Although I did not intend it to become a ritual, it seems to have evolved into that. Each year I gather a batch of those beautiful leaves and attempt to preserve them. Have tried countless methods and recipes and they seem to last just as long as non-treated leaves. But just the process of trying is therapeutic! Tell your mom she should be very proud of herself for producing such a talented and loving daughter (and rest of the family, I’m sure….)ReplyCancel

WAUW what a beautiful card here again today Becca. I just love these beautiful colors you´ve used for it, and I have also been missing your gorgeous bows, so I´m so glad to see one here today.
I love the wonderful colors of the fall season, and as a child, I grew up in my countys biggest wood, and every year we make a family trip back to it, to collect great stuff for all our decorations here every year, and I just absolutely LOVE that week-end each year, and I also LOVE, that all my lovely granddaughters seems to apreciate it just as much as I do, and always starts asking for when it´ll be this year, as soon as the leaves begins to change colors.ReplyCancel

Taking my mom for a drive down to Brown County to see the leaves changing color. We lived all our lives, until 10 years ago, where the leaves were green all year… no color change at all. I love the fall with the beautiful colors, and even the winter with the snow! If you’ve never had it, it’s nice to be able to experience the changing seasons.ReplyCancel

Every Fall, my beloved father would call at the beginning of school (I am a teacher) and wish me a special “Have a great first day and a wonderful year”. Believe it or not, it’s Black Friday… but not like we have now. We never even called it Black Friday, we called it ‘the day after Thanksgiving’! Every year my mom and I would drive about 40 minutes to where she grew up and we would pick up my Godmother. We would head over to a local department store where they had Santa and photos, Christmas music, and hot cocoa. After shopping, you would bring your receipt to the service desk, and pick a tag out of the fish bowl. Each tag had a percentage that you would get back in cash on the spot! Most were from 10% to 20%, but they did have higher ones, evan a 100% one, which my Godmother got once! After that, we went to lunch at a local landmark restaurant, and then visited my Grandma, who was physically unable to go out shopping like that. My Godmother and Grandma are long gone, and boy do I miss them!ReplyCancel

One of my favorite fall memories is my grandma making persimmon pudding. These are persimmons you get in the woods and you have to wait until after the first frost. If you pick them off the tree, they’ll pucker your mouth, but if you pick them up right after they’ve fallen off the tree they are yummy and make the most wonderful pudding. It isn’t really pudding consistency, it’s more like pumpkin pie, but a little more dense. With a dollop of whipped cream – mmmmm!ReplyCancel

I’d better stop, or I’ll keep writing about the wonderful times we’ve had year after year.ReplyCancel

A cherished memory in fall for me is one from my adulthood. I was invited to attend a Brunswick Stew cooking at my brother-in-law’s parent’s home. They made one day, a year, of cooking their Brunswick Stew. It was a very “cool” day in the fall under century old red oak trees in the yard where an enormous black iron pot was set up for cooking the stew. This black pot at one time had been used for “cooking” laundry! No regular spoon would do for stirring the stew due to the depth and width of the pot. We used a wooden “boat” paddle. Hot hickory wood coals were ready to heat the pot from underneath. Precooked beef, chicken, pork, tomatoes, butter beans, potatoes, onions, creamed corn, meat stock and a few spices when into the pot. Stir, stir, stir. We all got to stir. Reminded me of witches hovering around a black pot on Halloween! The warmth of the fire was comforting on this fall day. At last, the stew was done. It was time to taste Ms Margaret’s recipe. Each of us was given one dinner spoon for one dip of this mix-mash of bubbling goodness. The instruction was to “take care of your spoon”. Well, I was not turning in my spoon to be washed for I wanted more of this red stew! So, later when the spoons were being retrieved, I pulled my spoon out from my pant’s pocket. You see, I was taking care of my spoon! Everyone got a hardy laugh from my act of caring for my spoon. I guess no one had ever done that before. A sweet memory. Becca, your card is lovely. The sentiment is so priceless. Amen. Thanks for sharing.ReplyCancel

I love the fall. Great sleeping weather!!! But, the thing I look forward to are the Holidays. This is one of my favorite things, when the whole family gets together. We host Thanksgiving and Christmas every year, and I love it. I love to cook and love having the entire family together under one roof!! This year, we will only be having 15-17 family members at Thanksgiving. Usually we have more. Not sure how many will be joining this year at Christmas. Flying is getting a little scarry these days.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful creation again! It never ceases to amaze me, you seem to “outdo” yourself more and more.

Fall is my favorite season! I love the beautiful colors that are the last bloom of summer, the harvest of fall squashes and sweet potatoes, the wonderful crisp mornings walking through the garden and seeing dew on the cob webs, the wonderful bright pumpkins up beside the corn stalks, all herald that fall is here! Time to GIVE THANKS!

    Happy Thanksgiving BeccaReplyCancel

For me it is snuggling under a handmade afghan (Made by me) with a warm cup of homemade Hot Chocolate with lots of mini marshmallows while gazing at the changing leaves through my window.

This card is so beautiful and the sentiment so true. I love the bow and the pearl pin. Do you make your own pins? Or do you buy them premade? I would love to make my own someday.

Hi Becca, gorgeous card today. Love when all the leaves are turning colours. Living in Canada, we have our Thanksgiving in October. So every Thanksgiving weekend we always go to a special place and take a walk around a mill pond and through the forest. We have been doing this ever since our children were small. Now we have grandchildren and the tradition is continuing with them.ReplyCancel

  • Beth SwisherNovember 20, 2015 - 10:42 pm

So sorry for your loss. It must be terribly hard what you and your family went through. My prayers are with you all.
A fun thing we do in the fall is to gather acorns with our grandchildren. Recently it was 2 seven year old, a four year old and a 20month old. It is such fun watching them. Of course they have to look under all the bushes for “treasures”. The latest was a small gin bottle that they put berries in and topped with an acorn cap. They were so proud of that. Their imagination is worth it’s weight in gold.
    Have a peaceful season.ReplyCancel

Another work of art. So beautiful. I live in California so we
don’t get a lot of the color changing in the trees, but there are a few and I so enjoy seeing them each day in a different color scheme. The smell of the pumpkin pies cooking is wonderful. Enjoy your coffee with your Mom what a wonderful memory you will have forever. So miss my Mom.ReplyCancel

Hi Becca, Another oh, so pretty. You have such an innate sense of placement and additions that make your work different and new yet has your style. Love the scallop fold over the picture of the ladies and the sentiment off set to the side with just enough gold flourish above the images. Who’d of thought of that? Yes, you. Thanks and enjoy having your mom sitting with you drinking the coffee. Tell her for me that she raised you well. BarbaraReplyCancel

Hi Becca, This card is absolutely stunning !! I love the G45 image, I love all the die-cuts and the inking, and I adore the TH sentiment. You always create beautiful cards, and this one is absolutely stunning !!
I have just finished doing my front garden, think it will be the last time this year, it is very cold here today our forecast was for an Arctic blast and they were definitely right, although next week it should turn warmer again. I’m not good with this time of year when we have a lot of darkness, I am a definite summer person, so I am counting the days until we have spring again haha. I keep telling my hubby I should spend half of the year in our country (UK) and half the year in Australia, and have the summer twice hahaha.
Lots of love and huge hugs to you and your Family, from Patricia xxReplyCancel

Such an elegant and romantic card, Becca, and a wonderful sentiment!
    I don’t have special routines being associated with fall, but a good memory from a couple of years back in time;
We went to the US to visit our daughter who was studying there,
and drove by car from the West to the East coast.
A fantastic journey; all the wonderful people we met, the beautiful landscape and the colors of the trees and landscape – becoming more and more brilliant the further east we went!
I have never seen colors like that.
Becca, you really live in a beautiful country with the landscape changing from state to state, just amazing :))ReplyCancel

Yay for your mom being there with you!! I’m sure you will treasure this time with her!

Fall always brings back cherished memories of my mom, in heaven now for 3 years-3 months now. The Monarch butterflies migrate though our part of Texas every year in October around the time of her birthday. We would always call each other when we first saw one, and now that she’s been gone, I always think of them as butterflies from heaven. This October I saw the first one on the afternoon of the day before what would’ve been her 81st birthday!

We had many cherished times when my sister and I would take her to Canton (if you’re from Texas you know what a fun time it is) for her birthday and have a grand time shopping and laughing!! So thankful for these fun times we had with her!ReplyCancel

    • Carol H.November 21, 2015 - 9:37 pm

I meant to include a routine of fall. My sister and I still go to Canton the same time, for her birthday. We have lots of fun times and love buying things. If we hesitate to get something we repeat what Mama always said, “just get it!” :)ReplyCancel

What better way than to do it while getting in some mother/daughter bonding. Good stuff! Since my birthday is in October. I have a lot of fond memories from falls past. Friendship Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken using Spellbinders Silhouette - www.amazingpapergrace.com
Good morning friends, fresh air, outside, breathing it in!  I’m up from the craft table today and away, so today’s post is short.  Always in need of a “Friend” card in my stash, today I’m sharing an all die cut card, no stamps, no coloring.  Sometimes I think that makes for a quick assembly :-)  The Silhouette is so very classic and is smack dab in the middle of my style and is surely a good choice for a girly card.

Friendship Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken using Spellbinders Silhouette - www.amazingpapergrace.com
I started out with a 6″ x 6″ card base and added a vintage musical paper that is matted with kraft colored paper.  On top of that I added Spellbinders Grand Stately Circles in black and another circle on top with pink striped digital paper.  I followed that with the laurel leaves from Spellbinders Royal Medallions also cut in kraft colored paper.   The pretty detail of the oval from Spellbinders Elegant Ovals is a great base to show off my cameo cut with Spellbinders Silhouette.  I finished up with a hand cut banner, pointed on the ends and added Spellbinders Celebration Two.

Today is a change of pace for me with colors.  Aww yep, pink got worked in but I wanted to pull out some black cardstock and give it a go.  I love the way colors pop with a black backdrop.

Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken using Quietfire Design and Spellbinders - www.amazingpapergrace.com
Top of the morning to you!   I have a new card to share this morning – Day 24 of the 30 Days of Giving.   I was playing around with more Sapphire Dies and loved this set of wings and heart called Love in Flight.  I stamped my sentiment on Spellbinders Baby Buntings and topped it off with Spellbinders Victorian Corners.  The sentiment is one of my favorites (yes, another favorite) from Quietfire Design called  There Are Two Things We Can Give Our Children.

If you’re new to the blog, welcome to my 30 Days of Giving – every day during the month of July I’m giving away a handmade card – you can read all the specifics HERE.  You can check to see if you’ve won a card by searching for your name on the Giveaway Winners page.  You get there by the menu at the top of the page – put your cursor on Features then look down the list and select Giveaway Winners.

For today’s comment – Which weighs heavier with you when you’re creating handmade cards – the overall look or the message?   There’s no right answer, just a preference :-)

I think, to me, it is the overall look. I already have a message in mind when creating the card, so it is the design that I struggle with. Though the message is the most important part to get across, it is usually the easiest for me, and I have to spend much more time on the design.ReplyCancel

It depends on the purpose, if it’s a sympathy card then the message is most important. If it is a birthday card, get-well, etc. then the overall look can be more important to me. Beautiful card, by the way! It would make an amazing Mother’s Day card for my new daughter-in-law!ReplyCancel

What a gorgeous card and the sentiment – touches my heart. Actually when making cards I like an overall WOW look but each one has to have just the right sentiment for the occasion or for the recipient. The sentiment always has to live up the occasion for me.ReplyCancel

I think it’s the overall look. It depends on what the card is for naturally, but I like CAS cards mostly, I think because I’m uncomfortable in how to make the more elegant cards like you do so well! I have only made a couple of those and although they turned out oK, it was stressful to me. but I want the person getting the card to be very happy with what I’ve sent also.ReplyCancel

It really depends on the occasion. If it’s something like a birthday or a happy occasion, I usually focus on the stamp or image . If it’s a sympathy card or a get well ( card for a cancer patient ) then I focus more on the sentiments used.ReplyCancel

Another beauty! The wings and heart look so nice. In answer to your question, I concentrate on the overall look. I don’t have many sentiment stamps and sometimes think that a sentiment on the front can take away from the design. However, I think that you incorporate your sentiments into the design with other dies, gems, ribbons, etc. so that they blend together well.ReplyCancel

    Beautiful card Becca!
I usually know what stamp I will use and choosing one is not difficult. I struggle always at the very beginning of creating a card. It’s like I can’t remember how! Once I decide what colors I’m using and the design, it all seems to come together. Magic happens while I’m making the card and it always amazes me. Almost always looks great when I’m done.ReplyCancel

  • SuzzieQJuly 24, 2015 - 10:02 am

This sentiment is one of my favorites as well. When I am creating a handmade card, I think of the recipient and their likes. The gender of the recipient is the first requirement in my thought process and definitely determines the look of the card. The message is most important and sometimes I will think about the message for a day or two to make sure I say what I want to say and not just choose a generic statement. Many times I will type up on my computer my message and add it to the inside of my card as a folded layer. I always add a short handwritten sentence or two also before signing the card. Just wanted to tell you how elegant your dazzlers are on your bows.ReplyCancel

    Hi, Becca,
Another thought-provoking question. Being a singer-songwriter, a similar question comes up. What’s more important, the melody or the lyrics?

Songs and handmade cards are powerful because of the harmonious balance of medium and message. The written word sometimes needs no embellishment but give it beauty for eyes and ears and that speaks directly to the heart. That’s why I love expressing this way, my heart can touch another’s heart. Isn’t that an amazing grace?

I usually start with a message and then the design of the card evolves around this. The size of the message on a tag and the person’s gender and occasion will determine the coloring and embellishments used. Of course by the time everything is selected the whole room is a disorganized mess again. But it’s a happy mess.ReplyCancel

They need to know where they come from so they understand why we did what we did with them. When I make a card for someone I really want it to look perfect. Hard to say as I want every card I make to be special for that individual person. I guess as I look at who its going to and what pleases them, I think it comes out a balance. Ooh, I may have to like this sentiment again. I think it got so overused for a while it became trite for me, however true it is. Love the heart and wings die, and I don’t usually like that image….hmmm…wonder how soon I can roll into JoAnns!
Love how you anchored the wings with the pearls, great visual with the sentiment. Awesome card, Becca. Thanks.

Definitely for me, it is the message in a card, and then I try really hard for the design to support that. I want it to fit the person I am making it for, so color and taste come into play…steampunk for one niece, flowers for another, definitely the princess for one grand-niece, pink/purple for my daughter…but that very special saying first. For me it begins with the words and then works with all the other elements to say, “I love you and you are so important in my life…”
And now you have me thinking especially of my wonderful family, and how much I love them and the next card I will be designing for them….blessings and gratitude, Becca.

Beautiful card and such a true sentiment! I think I focus a bit more on the look of the card. I don’t have a lot of sentiment stamps and I can always write on the inside of the card the words I want to say to the special person.ReplyCancel

  • BunnyJuly 24, 2015 - 3:52 pm

    Once again, another beautiful card.

Looks or sentiment. It kinda depends. Right now I have been on a kick of using up my scraps. So, I’m making 4 ¼” square cards with scripture verses and some that are get well cards. They are still pretty but it’s basically The Word that I am concentrating on. I will give them to our church secretary who will send them as needed. So far, I’ve made 19 and I’m close to using up the small scraps. One of the cards unfortunately was mailed to my grandson in Georgia who broke 4 ribs yesterday clowning around in the gym after he just ran for 30 minutes at school. School is out, but he is in track and they are in practice. He knows he was wrong and all he was worried about was the coach was going to tell me how dumb it was. Yes, grandson, a lesson learned. He’s down and out for 4-6 weeks. Praise the Lord he didn’t puncture a lung or damage his spleen. Maybe his Daddy can preach about him this Sunday. Oh those teen years.ReplyCancel

    Hi Becca,

When making cards I go for the overall look. I save my message for the inside of the card but really need to purchase some that you use. Not only is the script beautiful, the sentiments can really touch the heart. Have a great weekend.

    Hi Becca,
What a lovely sentiment. I am a bit of a perfectionist so its both. I want the card to look good, but a verse can be touching as well.xReplyCancel

  • AlisonJuly 24, 2015 - 4:06 pm

Becca for me the overall look is important. If I don’t like what I have done I have ti change it ’til I do. but the message it conveys is important too so I try to make it personal to the receiver. A catch 22 question!ReplyCancel

  • TammieJuly 24, 2015 - 4:16 pm

This card is spectacular! When making a card, the sentiment may be the inspiration, but it is the finished overall appearance that weighs heavily on my mind.ReplyCancel

Another gorgeous quote on your beautiful card. As I don’t have a lot of wonderful stamped sayings at the moment. I have to say the design, EXCEPT for sympathy cards of which I have several different stamps. Those are personalized to each individual.ReplyCancel

  • Sandi SmithJuly 24, 2015 - 4:29 pm

Hope you are having a wonderful day Becca! Your New Card Is So LOVELY and the sentiment is beautiful. Thank you for sharing so many unique cards that are so inspiring.
When I create a card for someone, I want the card to convey what I am sending it for as well as have a sentiment that puts into words what I want to say. I hope my card draws them in to take a few minutes to really look at the card and that my sentiment will share the emotions behind my card. I would like to share how much I care, how many birthday wishes I am sending or that my deepest sympathy with prayers and love are being sent both by the look of the card and the sentiment. I do
always write my own personal note in every card I send.
    Have a wonderful day Becca!ReplyCancel

  • LorettaJuly 24, 2015 - 4:40 pm

Love the card! It’s almost impossible for me to separate the two as the overall look and sentiment are both intertwined. I find the sentiment is the most difficult to capture.ReplyCancel

  • Debbie McKelveyJuly 24, 2015 - 4:46 pm

For me it is actually both. I try to make a card with colors or stamps that have some meaning to the person and get the message that fits them as well. As I am sure you know sometimes it seems that we get hung up on the outside only to find we can’t seem to find the right words. I will hand write something in addition to the stamped message if I cannot find anything but a simple stamped message like Happy Birthday, etc. that fits.ReplyCancel

  • AnnaJuly 24, 2015 - 4:47 pm

That question had me thinking Becca.
We look with our eyes and read with our minds basicly.
So in saying that the look of card weighs heavier for me.
When I make a card for a person I will do it with colours they like.
    Many thanks

  • dorothy harrisonJuly 24, 2015 - 5:42 pm

you have outdone yourself again as usual! I like how you printed material for the wings instead of just plain paper. for me I start first with the outside design,I want it to be perfect. If I don’t have to see him for an outside, I use the computer and print own on my card stock and then cut it with my die. The inside card i typically write myself (on the computer). So I am picky about both – but have the control over the words that will speak to their heart.ReplyCancel

I think the message is the most important. That is why we create and send the cards we make. We want to convey our message to the recipient. The overall appearance can help make the message pop, but it is our message that we want the recipient to getReplyCancel

  • Mary MacJuly 24, 2015 - 5:59 pm

Hi Becca, a magnificent card carrying a very sound sentiment.
You know how we say ‘first impressions are very important’ I think it is the same when someone receives a card. So, No.1 the best design you can produce in suitable or the favourite colours of the recipient, No.2 a spot on sentiment, expressing the reason for the card and appropriate personal message on the inside. Perhaps a suitable verse as well.
    Bless you. Mary.ReplyCancel

  • Kathy mJuly 24, 2015 - 6:40 pm

I place the message in the overall look and feel. The look needs to tell the story by generating a feeling similar to a painting. However, I do search for specific words to clearly communicate the feeling. That is why I always like the word stamps that you find at your favorite stamp vendors! It is fun to find the extract message in a stamp! Thanks for finding Quietfire, Waltzinghouse, Justrite, Our Daily Bread, and others!ReplyCancel

You always use such elegant, gorgeous ribbon on your cards. And the amazing buttons/embellishments on the ribbon are WONDERFUL!!! WHERE do you buy your buttons/embellishments? They have just the right touch of elegance without being too grandiose for the card to take it out of balance. Brilliance!!! You never stop inspiring me with each card, and how I appreciate this! You introduced me to QuietFire Designs, some of my favorite sentiment stamps everywhere, and I’m glad to see that they are now mounted stamps–so much easier to use…

Thank you for this opportunity to win one of these beautiful cards!!! :)

Sorry, I forgot to answer your question. I do think that the message is more important than the overall appearance, but I do spend more time on the appearance. So in a way it’s rather even… Perhaps as I improve as a card-maker, I will be able to spend more time on the message, at the moment I work on the appearance as I see my technical flaws all too clearly in my cards. But I’m grateful I see improvement over time… :) Partially for sure due to all I learn from seeing your cards and from other card-making great artists. :)

Thanks again for this opportunity to win one of your cards.

This is a tough question. Probably the message…especially since I include so much Scripture on my cards. I’m usually making non-Scripture cards with a specific person in mind, so I’m wanting it to be “just right” for that person in both the look and the message.ReplyCancel

I think with a true heart I would have to say the over all look for most of my cards. . . tho I do spend some time on the message, especially depending on who the card is for. . . some I know like it simple but sweet and others I know love a more in depth message! Hi Becca this card is stunning!
I think I have to get the look I have in my mind onto card first , sometimes I have a specific sentiment in mind , or even a couple of possibilities.
But on occasion I design my card around my sentiment , especially with cards that reflect nature.

And you did it again, and made such a beauty Becca, and I absolutely LOVE this sentiment too. It is sooo true and actually the best gift you can give them at all.
I think I value both equally, as I always try to make all my cards so they fit just right for the person, who´s recieving it, and if I can find a sentiment, that just fiit that person too, I really feel a big satisfaction, when I´m done, and I know many of my friends have often said, that it was spot on and just hit them, and then I feel I´ve really managed to do a really good job. So as far as it´s possible I choose everything with passion.ReplyCancel

Wonderful topics you’ve been choosing this month! Love this idea of daily blogging. At least for me. Lots more work for you, I’m sure.
When I create an item, whether it is a card or not, I plan the design & the sentiment to coordinate with each other. I don’t care to put a cute sentiment on an elegant card, or an elegant sentiment on a cute card. That doesn’t appeal to me. Then again, I am not producing huge quantities of cards or projects. I can afford to be slow in my thinking process! LolReplyCancel

My Stampin Up person – Jenny Hanson showed me what was happening in the stamping world, then Yardgoods Center’s stamping group and Sheila Bacon, encouraged, emboldened, instructed, and generally helped me look behind a rubber stamp, ink, and embossing powder! There are so many talented artists who share their work and do training – so a little of each gets molded into who we are.
And of course, YOU! Thanks Becca!ReplyCancel
