I’m so grateful to be easing my way back! I made it through surgery with a couple of hiccups but if anything they were precious reminders that life is not to be taken for granted and that through the course of our lives – everything is a choice. I’ve felt well enough to get back at the computer perhaps as early as a week ago but have spent a lot of time thinking and planning how to savor the things I love to do, how to make time for the family and people who have time for me, how to treat and expect to be treated with worth and finally, how to take better care of myself. The doctor and I had a heart to heart talk about stress and how it affects your health. I believe him, no arm twisting here! Thankfully and gratefully, writing and posting my crafty endeavors here on my blog is one of the things I truly savor – it is a stress reliever. You sweet readers have always been engaging, delightfully enthusiastic and always full of well wishes. Thanks for waiting so patiently as I get back to normal. Thanks so much for checking on me and the wonderful emails! Thanks so much for being you!!
I’ll be back with a card tomorrow but in the mean time, did you know that Spellbinders is hosting a fabulous contest?? Yep, time is running out, I’m sharing the details here because there’s $$ involved and after this time of the year, some extra in the ole pocket may come in handy :-)

Greetings Blog Friends! You mean so much to me, so I hope you’ll tolerate another scheduled post. I’m probably lounging somewhere recuperating while the blog cranks along on auto-pilot. I don’t normally schedule ahead – when you see a blog post – usually I’m sitting right there still editing. At any rate, another card for the stash-a-roonie :-) Christmas means so much to me, but on the “B” list is the notation that I get to use red as much as I want, yay!
Actually the purpose for this card is to use my new Tsukineko Delicata Ink Pad. I’m a connoisseur of gold ink and I’ve honestly not seen anything like this one. I simply embossed with Spellbinders™ Holiday Magic M-Bossibilities™ folder and swiped Delicata pad across the embossing for a sparkling highlight. I smudged the edges with Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink. On the card I layered Spellbinders™ Picot Edge Circles between two sizes of Spellbinders™ Vintage Lace Motifs and Spellbinders™ Vintage Lace Accents. I scrounged around my stash for some tea stained seam binding, button, pearl and holly leaves. The Peace and Joy comes from the Turtle Dove Ornaments set from Our Daily Bread Designs. Yummy red :-)
Hugs friends, thanks for your prayers, I’ll be back soon!

So glad you are back and feeling better. Please take care of yourself! You are important to all of us!
Hi Becca – welcome back! Foam tape addict here :) not in denial. Also love vertical greetings – wish there were lots more of them! Another romantique lovely card!!!
Welcome back Becca. You are still very good at creating cards. I also like to use form tape too.
Vicky
Hope you are starting to feel better. It so nice to hear from you. Your medical leave has not diminished your artistic skill in the slightest. This card is a delight. Thanks so much for sharing it.
Becca, your card is truly amazing!
Oh Becca, I am sooooooooooooo happy that you are back! Missed you
beyond words! Love your work and I can say as another has already
said, “When I grow up I want to be like Becca”!! Your inspiration is
amazing! Thank you for sharing your God given talent with us!
My name is Julie and I’m a foam tape addict! LOL! Glad you’re back!
So glad you are back and better. This card is just so juicy, love the foam popup and yes I am an addict. Lol, love to add dimension.
Oh, Becca, I am so happy you are back. You were missed for sure!!
Love this card- it is just the perfect Christmas colors. I am a foam tape addict also – as well as a Spellbinders addict. They go so well together.. the higher the better. Can’t have too much foam tape, glitter or pearls.
Oh, what a wonderful card! So colorful, and full of my favorite embellishments! You are magic, Becca! This is a treasure for the happy recipient!!!
Oh – as for foam tape…yep, I love it. But only one or two layers. As almost all of my cards are mailed, I have to limit myself on the depth of my cards. I rarely put bows on for that reason. A smuhshed bow kind of ruins the effect.
Becca, I am so glad you are back and doing well. Prayers continue to go out to you for a full recovery. We all missed you. Merry Christmas to you and your family. From one of your family members!!!
Make a card without foam tape?? Impossible!!! Can’t make a card without using foam tape and the post office loves me for it!!! Thank you, Becca, for all your beautiful ideas. I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful 2013. Blessings to you and yours.
Becca!
What a beautiful card to share with us – the verse is amazing and so fitting. Your wonderful attention to design is amazing. Don’t overdo as we would rather have you get cack to normal than too much pushing. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Beautiful card! Love the designs and colors of the papers you used, and as always, I love the way you use the Spellbinders dies. I enjoy using foam tape for popping elements on my cards. Take care <3
Beautiful card. Amazing talent! Thanks for sharing. God bless.
glad all is well! love the card
Becca,
Just an absolutely georgous card. I would pop dot it as well as you did. Perhaps the foam tape is a wonderful idea and I would do the same thing! Dimension, dimension, dimension!!!!!
You take care of yourself ~ no relapses! we just miss you tooooooo much when you are gone!

What a great way to get back in the groove with this lovely card. I just love the combination of dies and their pop-up look that gives the card an attractive dimension. Take care, Becca.
Becca, it is so good to have you back in blog land. . I most certainly enjoy your blog and beautiful work you create. . . I love this card you made, love all the Spellbinder dies you used!!! I have that exact same paper with the red stripes on it, just made two tags in a western theme with it. I love using foam, I just don’t remember to use that much.
My Christmas vacation from school (work really) is coming up and I can hardly wait to make up my kits from you!!! It shall be a fun break!
Glad you’re back! Your presence was missed. I’m relatively new to foam tape, but I’m a pop-dots maven! I love the look of raised layers. I am also becoming guiltlessly addicted to Spellbinder and Cheery Lynn dies. Every Spellbinder die you use, I add to my collection. The three you used today are no exception. Ebay, here I come!
Beautiful card, all the work you put into each one, makes a nice keepsake for whom ever receives it. Well Wishes and Speedy Recovery along with Happy Holidays.
Hugs, Lori m
I’m really glad to see you are feeling better. Your card is stunning. I hope the person who gets it is well deserving of it.
I just love your cards and pin them all the time so I can share with my other friends. So inspirational and just darn pretty.
Becca, Bless you. I have checked everyday for word on how you are. It was wonderful to see that you are back again with another beautiful card and doing well. Our prayers have been answered. Yes stress can give us a lot of trouble. You take care of yourself. We love your work and look forward to you sharing it with us but your health is the most important. You are very loved by all your blog friends. Sandra
Beautiful card, and for once I think I might have some papers that you used! Ah, bliss. So happy you’re feeling like crafting again, and hope it continues to get better each day. Enjoy your down time, refresh your soul, rest yourself, do what makes you feel good. Hugs and TFS
