Peace and Joy

Greetings Blog Friends! You mean so much to me, so I hope you’ll tolerate another scheduled post.  I’m probably lounging somewhere recuperating while the blog cranks along on auto-pilot.  I don’t normally schedule ahead – when you see a blog post – usually I’m sitting right there still editing.  At any rate, another card for the stash-a-roonie :-)  Christmas means so much to me, but on the “B” list is the notation that I get to use red as much as I want, yay!

Actually the purpose for this card is to use my new Tsukineko Delicata Ink Pad.  I’m a connoisseur of gold ink and I’ve honestly not seen anything like this one.  I simply embossed with Spellbinders™ Holiday Magic M-Bossibilities™ folder and swiped Delicata pad across the embossing for a sparkling highlight.  I smudged the edges with Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink.   On the card I layered Spellbinders Picot Edge Circles between two sizes of  Spellbinders™ Vintage Lace Motifs and Spellbinders™ Vintage Lace Accents.  I scrounged around my stash for some tea stained seam binding, button, pearl and holly leaves.  The Peace and Joy comes from the Turtle Dove Ornaments set from Our Daily Bread Designs.  Yummy red :-)

Beautiful! I have just finished making all of my cards for this year. However, there are still several people that require special cards and this will be one of them! Thank you for your loving and sharing heart. You are a blessing to all of us.ReplyCancel

Firstly – I hope that you are on the mend now and getting plenty of well deserved rest.

Secondly – thank you for thinking of us and scheduling posts ahead! This card is stunning – I love the background! I hope that I can get hold of that new gold inkpad in the UK as it looks ideal for Christmas cards and (unlike Carole above) I haven’t even started mine yet this year!ReplyCancel

Such a lovely card, and as always the colors are just right. You take care and really hope you are doing well and will be up and “running” real soon. I am praying for you and that is the best “medicine” any one can ask for. Hugs and +God bless+ Denice P.S. Wish for me a happy birthday, this is the first one I will be celebrating since my mama passed and she was usually the only one who ever phoned to tell me happy birthday. I miss her but I believe she would call me if she could and knowing that, will have to do for now. : )ReplyCancel
