I have a healthy dose email to go through so I decided to take a day or so to get caught up.  As I go through the comments, several questions have popped up a couple of times that I thought it best to address them in a post.  Also, I’ve discovered that I gave out some wrong information so this is probably the best forum to correct it. 

Q:     Is that a pineapple punch you used on the Thanksgivng Program Placesetting?
A:     Yep, it’s a pineapple punch with a sprig of leaves arranged symmetically underneath…the leaves are part of the punch.

Q.    Where did you get the punch and who makes it?
A.     My sincere apologies, I emailed several people that it was an Anna Griffin punch but I was wrong.  It is a Brenda Walton punch that I found at the Plaid Outlet in Lawrenceville, GA.  Many of the items were being clearanced out at the time but it is possible the punch still exists.  The part number on the punch is 45BPA

Q.     How large was the circle used in the Friends of Flourishes card HERE.  
A.     The card size was 5" wide by 6" tall.  I used the largest Nestability out of the Standard Circle Large set which is 3 3/4 inches in diameter.  You have a lot of play with your circle size when making the circle medallions using a corner punch.  The circle can easily be smaller or larger, the important item is the width of your corner punch. 

Q.     How large are the circles used in the My Family is A Circle card HERE.
A.      The card is 6" x 6" and the circles are from the Nestability Standard Circle Large set – Circle number 3 is 2 1/4 inches.

Q.     Will you do more tutorials?
A.      The beauty of a video tutorial is that it actually saved me tons of photo editing so I am working on more tutorial ideas.

    Miss Becca ~ God has blessed you with an amazing talent. I wish you would teach a class… I’d be more than willing to pay a fee and I’m sure many other people would also…. Currently I’m taking a scrap class with Val & Janna… http://gotsketch102.ning.com/

    Good evening, Becca, it is so good of you to answer all our questions. Perhaps it might be helpful to both you and us if you would consider the possibility of adding your card dimensions in the relevant credits. For me it gives me a better impression of the card in my mind because American card sizes are generally different to UK sizes.
    Looking forward to seeing more of your beautiful cards and hopefully more interesting and educational video tutorials.

    I echo the thought on listing the card size. It is deceiving looking at the finished product and trying to guess at the dimensions of it.

    I am so happy do read that you are thinking of doing more videos. Your style in your first video was so perfect, making everything so easy to understand.

    I know I echoed once before about a ribbon video and I am echoooooing again!!!

    Oh thank you so much Becca for all the information :). I actually tried a medallion and used it to frame a hand colored snowman image that I mounted on an altered cd to use as a Christmas ornament. The medallion was fun to make and came out so pretty :). Thanks for all the inspiration that you give us.

    Becca, I have a question….being new to spellbinders I tried them on bazzill and other textured papers and they don’t emboss…I tried it on just plain paper and it doesn’t either….what kind of paper do you use..should it be plain and also….maybe I need more shims??? thanks so much….like in the rectangle…all but the last bottom border embossed just a tiny bit…………help I’m frustrated……..June in PA I love your work so much it almost makes me cry, it’s so beautiful.ReplyCancel

    Becca, A while back, quite aways back……….., you had stated that yor cards are a certain size in height and width and that it is the basic size you use to build your card from there. Could you please share that information? I noticed that the card backing is always a creme color. Can you tell me what brand of paper do you use for the basic backing to build your card upon?

    Hi,

    I love your cards! I recently got the new pendant templates and am playing with it. However, I’m having the world’s hardest time getting the paper out of the template. So far I haven’t been able to make a successful pendant. :( How do you get your papers out? I tried pushing from the back with a stylus but it was stuck in there so tight that I left prints on the paper before it was even loose. Is there a trick to it? BTW I’m using a Cuttlebug with B and C plates.
