Hi there. Working on some things so have a card to share today. I love the colors on this flower that was rescued from a bouquet in the dollar bin at Michaels. I pulled it off the stem and filled the center with pearls – it was my inspiration today. It’s big but it found its way into the center of my card and I still had room for a couple of other things. I’m using a new sentiment from the August Releases with Our Daily Bread Designs set called Happy Fall. It says "Peacemakers who sow in peace raise a harvest of righteousness. James 3:18.
I used Spellbinders Lotus Pendant to embellish the edges of my card. For the three vertical columns I used the swirly from Fanciful Holiday and finished with a tag from Ribbon Tags Trio Two. The little curlicue next to the tag is also a part of Fanciful Holidays. Even though it is still hot, hot, hot, not sure if for cardmaking I’m ready to move into fall. There’s still so much summer stamping I want to do. Fall sure won out today :-)

Becca, it is aways such a pleasure to see your feed in my mail, it brings a smile to my face and joy to my heart to see your Christian love flow out into your creations. I hate giving up the summer and spring as well, but I agree, fall is winning out now. This card is beautiful, the colors make me want to go bake a pumpkin pie! Thanks for sharing!

I was glad to see a post from you today as it is what I look for every time I check my emails for the day. The flower is gorgeous and I think I may have one of the same on a wreath hanging in my kitchen. Hum, I will leave it alone and keep my eye on for others the next trip to our Micheals. Another lovely card!! I’m always in awe of what you do with the Spellbinders! That Fanciful Holiday is such a great set. I’d love to have that one, but will have to wait until someone is offering a great deal on it and hope it’s still available. Maybe I’ll have it by Christmas 2011!!

Simply gorgeous!!!!! Love the fall colors. We have had a rather mild summer so far here in San Diego, CA. But we usually have a heat wave in late August early September. For now, I am really enjoying the mild summer. Not quite ready for fall just yet.

It looks just awesome Becca, and I too just love these fallcolors, and I think they looks great even I´m not ready for fall yet either, as we haven´t had much sumer at all here in Denmark the last 4 to 5 years, so we´re really longing for a really long and good warm summer here, butas the rain has started again now, I´m afraid we wount get anymore this year either, so it sure warms to see such a beauty.Wonderful work as always hun.

This is absoluteluy beautiful Becca. I just love the fall colors. Just so happens I made a floral arrangement with that same flower a couple of months ago! A friend re-decorated her livingroom and black was her color so I used that color a focal and splash of color, it is beautiful.
