Okay, I may be getting used to this video stuff now. I spent the day running errands and the entire evening baking goodies for my family. Two quiches and one pineapple upside down cake later I sat down to decide what to post for Thursday. It was so much easier for me to make a video and upload than the drag the recesses of my lethargic brain for a card. So I have the next in the How to Tie a Bow series. This one will require Double Sided Ribbon – it doesn’t work well with single sided ribbon because the wrong side will show – I’ll do another video showing how to use single sided ribbon. At any rate this is very short (I’ve learned!!)
Thank you for all the kind comments this week! I’m very blessed to have such a wonderful group to check in with me when they can.
Thanks Becca!! I love the bows you use on your work!!
Have a fabulous day!
I continue to learn so much from you! I love how you tied it on with a separate piece of ribbon – and how you folded it to snip the ends so perfectly!! Thanks so much for putting this tutorial together and sharing with us!!
hugs, Jami
Thanks for showing us how to make your gorgeous bows, i will have to try this soon.
I will be trying your bow for sure. You make the prettiest bows EVER!
And by the way, your voice is so calming. :-)
I love your work! Thanks for sharing with us.
Becca, bless you!!! I’ve loved your bows since the first day that I came across your blog and your wonderfully creative designs! This is going to help me so much and I can’t wait for the next chapter in your wonderful bow videos!!!!
Pam
I don’t know how you do this day after day but I am grateful that you do. I would never have guessed your technique of sliding the ribbon through the bow. Perfect! Where did you find the tweezers you used? Thank you for teaching us so much.
Thank you so much, that was a great bow! I tried it now and it works :)

Fabulouse tutorial Becca, thank you so much! Love the tip with the tweezers of pulling the ribbon through. Your bow is gorgeous!
Becca-Thanks for the video. I’m bow illiterate, that’s why I always knot! I’ll have to show my Mom, she has bow trouble too!
Thanks for taking the time to show us!
Hugs,
Joani
Very nice…………. I agree, could listen to you speak all day, so calm!

You are such a natural at teaching Becca. What an excellent tutorial. Now I must try it. Thank you very, very much for taking the time to do this.

Becca, you are so clever! I love the idea of slipping a piece of ribbon through the bow to attach the bow to the card. Everytime I attempt to tie a bow onto the card the ribbon twists and turns and my “tunnel” goes awry! Your hands are so beautiful and graceful. You are truly the “Amazing Paper Grace”

Becky,
Seem not to be able to view your videos. Is there any way you could download to a DVD and I could get the DVD from you. Just a thought.
P.S. Don’t even understand how I got to this comment – purely by accident.
Great tutorial. Your bows always look so perfect. You use a different method than what I use, and I will try yours today. Love the idea of adding the length of ribbon behind the bow. Love your blog and your creativity.
Shirley Lee
Becca, I have tried lots of different bow techniques, but this one worked the best for me! Thank you so much for doing the video! Seeing it done really helps.
Joan
Becca,
thanks so much for sharing your tips! I’m with Joan about it’s so much easier seeing it than just reading about it or seeing step by step pictures. You do beautiful work! I’m so glad I found you.

I learn so much from you. I never thought of using the tweezer to pull another piece in the back. THANKS SO MUCH!
Another great tutorial, I love all your videas and learn so much from them, Thank you
Jose
Thanks for sharing your tips! I would’ve never thought to do two separate pieces, lol! It’s so much easier to understand it with your videos!
What is the low tack stuff you used on the back of the cs that let you take the white piece on and off of the base so easily?
I have been admiring your bows so thank you for the excellent tutorial! I love the trick of pulling a small piece of ribbon through the back of the bow!! Much easier to get a good bow that way!
Eureca !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good evening, Becca – a great tutorial. I admire the use of a separate piece of ribbon on which to thread the bow – I must try that idea – it’s makes such a perfectly straight bow – thanks for sharing your wonderful ideas and techniques.

My downline told me about your fabulous website yesterday. I just finished looking at your last Oct. Archive card and thought that I hoped you had a tutorial on how to tie a bow. I hit “home” and there it was!! God is good!!! I have always tied knots on my cards because my bows are so lousy. But I was able to do this!! And both tails came out of the bottom of the bow! Thanks, Becca.
Awesome as usual!! I am so inspired by your work!! And I have (successfully!) tried the knot from your first great video!!!
Do you have any suggestions for mailing these beautiful cards?? I so want to share with my famiy!! God Bless!!!
S-T-U-N-N-I-N-G! Becca that is the nicest bow in the world!!!!! Pulling that strip of ribbon thru the back of the bow is brilliant. So simple but just that little touch totally wowed me! Have the best day Becca!!
Thanks for a great video. Now my friend Bonnie won’t have to tie my bows for me. LOL

Becca, this bow is so lovely! I have watched it many times as I am so poor at bows. I am attempting to improve. Was wondering if the ribbon you are using is wired or not. Thanks, and, have a wonderful Christmas, Joan
Heavens Becca, why has it taken me so long to discover this incredible tutorial? I am seriously bow-tying-challenged but this looks simple enough even for me to succeed.
Thanks a million and Happy New Year to you and yours.
