Hey there!! Thanks so much for the sweet comments on the Bow Collar Tutorial. It was so fun to put that together and after I had the video done yesterday I went back and actually made the dummy card I was working with into a real card. :-) So again you get to see a pretty little bow with a collar and indeed it’s the one I tied yesterday. I dived in my stash for my very favorite Spellbinders Classic Lace Border Grand to create a frame. I seated the Collar Bow inside the frame and added a sentiment from this month’s Our Daily Bread Designs release. The set I’m using is called God Loves You. I simply split the sentiment in two using my stamp positioner so that it was short enough to fit on my Petite Oval.
To finish up I used the Lotus Borderabilites for the smart edge that goes around the card. Pearls and a final fluff of the bow complete the card.
Card Recipe: Stamps: Our Daily Bread Designs – God Loves You Paper: White Cardstock, K & Co Ink: Colorbox Chalk Ink – Rouge Accessories: Spellbinders™ Classic Lace Border Grand, Spellbinders™ Lotus Borderabilties Petite, Spellbinders™ Petite Ovals LG, May Arts Ribbon, Pearls |
Big hugs to you!! See you soon!

OMGosh, this is so gorgeous!! I love how you used the border diecut and it’s one of my favorite lace borders. I’ll have to give that a try:) tfs
Oh my, this is just awesome Becca. I really loved yesterdays tutorial, but I also sure love todays card, and I´just have to give this collarbow a try, so now I simply have to make a card, where I can make one of these. But I also really love this frame, you made here. It´s sooo gorgeous I just LOVE it.

Becca,
Thank you for the beautiful Bow Collar Tutorial…you make it look oh so easy and for your gorgeous take on the Spellbinders Classic Lace Border Grand in creating this frame. All I can say is ‘WOW’ and double ‘WOW.’ It’s a masterpiece. I know you are smiling because the work is simply elegant; have a great day!
Another stunning card, Becca!!!
This is so beautiful, and feminine! Somehow makes me think of Easter dresses or cotton candy. I love it.
I LOVE how you used the Grand Lace Border and was hoping to read more in your post about how you made this into a frame. Did you just make separate cuts and miter them together? It’s beautiful!
The colours are perfect for the bow with collar.
But then I just know you’re going to come back with another stunner in a different colourway :o)
Hugs

I have several sites I visit every day. Your site is the only one where you “consistently” produces a beautiful card “every time” you posts.
Most people can produce great cards some of the time. You produce great cards EVERY TIME. Plus you find unique ways to use products we all have , but didn’t see the possibilities that you see. You are truly amazing !
A gorgeous card Becca, just as all your creations.
hugs, Elly
Beautiful card Becca,…… Just beautiful.
You are an amazing talented person.

Absolutely stunning Becca – what else would we expect from you.
Thanks a million for sharing :)
Simply heavenly, Becca. I just dropped by to get my “fix” for the day :). Your stuff is always dreamy :)

I always get so excited in that moment between checking my RSS feeds to find that you have a new post up and clicking to see what stunning card you have up that day.
Obviously today’s card is stunning as ever :)
Becca, that is just absolutely breathtaking. I have learned so much just watching your videos. Can we have like maybe two a day? LOL! Truly your work is inspiring and so beautiful.
Lovely card. You do such amazing work. I so appreciated that tutorial, I made a bow and it’s just awesome. Now I need to make a card to put it on.
Blessings
Bernie
I gotta stop checking your blog at work. The audible gasps keep giving me away. (wink) Seriously, you amaze me on a regular basis.
I am guilty of staring (something mom said that I should never do) at your cards……I just have to understand how you put it all together…..so if I understand then I can do the same thing – ha! Thank you, Becca, for exposing all of us to endless possibilities with stamps and Spellbinders, and ribbon!
Lovely again, a real beaut!! How did you do the layer frame underneath? Just curious on what you used to create that first layer.
So beautiful! I love cards that only have one pastel color along with white. They always look so elegant. And using the Spellbinder dies to add the cutout makes it look gorgeous. Fabulous bow!
Thanks so much for sharing the video of the bow collar. I tried making one today with some very narrow ribbon and it definitely doesn’t have the same affect, plus I was gathering it on both sides, which it looks like you didn’t do. The card you posted today is gorgeous, like all your cards.
How beautiful!
Soft, feminine and BEAUTIFUL!
What to say, beautiful card!!! Anyone would feel so special to get this card given to them. Thanks for sharing all your wonderful work.
Becca,
This card is absolutely gorgeous, so pretty and elegant! The bow is awesome, I will watch your tutorial when I have time! So sorry I have been absent from your blog lately. I have been visiting for quick peeks, just haven’t been leaving comments. I have been so busy, I hope you will forgive me. I haven’t even had much time to create and blog myself, and I miss it so much. Drop me an email sometime and we will get caught up.
Hugs,
Lisa Atha
This card is so special; you out did yourself this time!
Beautiful-love the white frame and that is the prettiest pink ribbon I have seen-love the stitching on it-May Arts, I see. tfs
Just gorgeous!!
Gorgeous. I love my Spellbinders Classic Lace Grand border, I think it’s my fav of them all. Great mitering job!

Becca I think the sentiment of the card fits you! I am so thankful for your talent and your willingness to share it with everyone
Beautiful!
GORGEOUS as always!! I’d love to see how you make your frame so neatly!
How nice to see the video yesterday and today to see a beautiful card using the collared bow. Your card is just beautiful Becca, you have such a way with the die-cuts. It’s always a treat for me when I visit you here. As always Becca, TFS!!! :-D
In a word …. Breathtaking! …..ash
Gorgeous Card! Thanks for sharing! :D I am curious, I don’t believe you’ve ever mentioned, how do you store your finished cards? Alot of them have dimension and depth and I’d be afraid they would get smushed. I know i’ve seen cellophane sleeves that can be used to protect cards.
Wow – lovin’ that frame made with the Classic Lace die – which is my favorite also….thanks for showing me a new way to use it!
Teri
This is another absolutely gorgeous card! I love that frame, I used that border punch also for my 25th anniversary invitations and it’s awesome. I never thought of making it into a frame yet, though; but then, in my defense ,I haven’t had it that long. You always give me such great inspiration. Thank you!
You do such beautiful work. I’m really looking forward to each project you share.
Becca, this is just stunning! I envy the lucky recipient of your lovely card.
Your work is always inspiring.
Hugs
Marisa
Becca, this card is just gorgeous, stunning, beautiful. I have run out of words!! Thank you for the bow tutorial. That is one of my toughest challenges. Oh to have bows that look like yours!! Hugs Cheryl
Well you have amazed me again! I just discovered this site a few weeks ago and I am hooked!! Oh Becca, you are the best! The things I do when trying to be a better person are, help a friend, even when I don’t feel like it, volunteer for something, even if I’m busy, stop and chat with a disabled person if I’m out and about, the smile on their face is worth a million, just to mention a few
I just love how you have used the lace border for the frame. I have just bought the die and was looking at it thinking “why did I buy you” and now I know :) thanks Becca you are a star.
What a beautiful card! I have learned so much watching your videos. Thank you for sharing with us.
OMG Becca how beautiful! Would it be possible to share the May Arts # so I can make some of your bow collars?
Thanks so much!
I thought I was going to have to ask for a tutorial on this frame when I looked at the stamp but then I enlarged the picture and walla, I figured it out! Becca, you are such a good inspiration for us all!

[…] I used Spellbinders Rectangles SM. I haven’t used my Collar Bow (see another sample HERE) in quite some time, so I balanced out the rest of the frame with one and added leaves. Mmmm, […]
