Something Creative Bow Card and Winner

Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken - Die Cut Bows Tutorial
Hi there friends!  As promised I have the winner of the Clear Case Giveaway at the bottom of my post, I also have a fun card to share.  This past Christmas I did a card that shows you how to use die cuts you probably already own to make a bow.  I did an update of the card for every day giving and made the bow the focal point of the card.  This was a quick and easy one and the original tutorial can be found HERE and the tutorial pin on Pinterest can be found HERE. WRBF-4161-2014 For my card I started out with a 5-1/2″ by 7-1/2″ card base – I cut the decorative bottom of the base using Spellbinders Scalloped Borders One.  On a panel 4-7/8″ square I added a gingham panel 4-3/4″ square then added two cuts of Spellbinders Gilded Gate Two.  For the bow I used Spellbinders Classic Ovals LG and for the tails I used Spellbinders Nested Lacey Pennants

CRAFT SUPPLIES I USED
Rubber Stamps: Paper Source Craft Paper: Neenah Classic Crest – Smooth – Natural White, My Minds Eye Ink: Versafine – Onyx Black Accessories:  Spellbinders Scalloped Borders OneSpellbinders Gilded Gate Two, Spellbinders Classic Ovals LGSpellbinders Nested Lacey Pennants, Pearl Brads, The Paper Studio Pearls, Grand Calibur Die Cut Machine

Love the pink gingham. My first home economics sewing project was a pink gingham apron. Nice memories. Also love the bow, but the link to the tutorial doesn’t work and the dies aren’t listed on your supply list. Would really love to give the bow a try. As usual, the card is beautiful and your ideas unique. Just love your style. You are a very gifted artist, and a very special lady. You can tell your heart is as big as your gift.ReplyCancel

    Hi Becca,
it’s a cute card and I’d forgotten all about your tutorial – could I have saved some money by not buying the gorgeous bow dies from Sue Wilson I ask myself. But immediately I disregard that notion as those dies are just beautiful and make beautiful bows.
However, I could still adapt your design accordingly………….
