Good morning blog friends! I’m overwhelmed by your reaction to the box I last posted. Many of you asked where the tutorial will be posted and I’m sure it will be on YouTube, so keep a look out. Of course if you are subscribed, you’ll get a notification ;-) In the meantime I have a card to share today and a short post. My card base was made using Spellbinders™ 5 x 7 Matting Basics A – I knew by using a template instead of manually cutting, the sides in reference to the bottom would be square – perfection! My card is 4-7/8″ x 6-7/8″. I created a small panel using Spellbinders™ M-Bossibilities™ Infinity (Side A) – don’t you just love the subtle elegant texture it adds to a card without overwhelming? I’ve always been an embossing folder fan but set them aside for a while for a fling with design paper. They are definitely back in my heart :-)
I keep coming back to the new borders – I think I’m addicted – they add so much elegant flare and can be tucked anywhere. I added Spellbinders™ A2 Bracket Borders One underneath my textured panel then added my lace and seam binding with bow on top. Last, I added the sweet sentiment from Quietfire Design using the 2013 Valentines Day Stamp Set.

That is a beautiful card! How did you cut out the flourish at the top? It looks like part of it is hanging in mid-air?
Love, love , love this card. So beautiful.
I too want to know about the bird and the background behind it with the
