Hi there blog friends! Thanks so much for your sweet words on my gatefold card. If time permits and I’m better able to sit at the desk, I’ll see what I can do about drumming up some more concrete instructions. In the mean time, I have a very simple card to share today. I loved this piece of paper by Memory Box and simply wanted to use it without covering it up – hence my very simple card. The sentiment is from this months releases with Our Daily Bread Designs called Sweet Christmas Wishes.
I created a small frame using Spellbinders™ Picot Edge Circles and Spellbinders™ Standard Circles LG. It’s topped with one of my favorite embellishments from Spellbinders™ Fleur de Lis Motifs. See, I told you simple :-)

Love it Becca! Simple but oh so elegant!!! Something for me to CASE!
Also need that extra blessing-REALLY need to START my Christmas cards! YIKES!
Hi Becca, thanks for the lovely card. Hope you are soon feeling better. Merry Christmas to you and all you family. Dianne
Holy Cats, Becca!!! I love this card!! I will be making this one for sure! Thank you.
Beautiful card. Hope you feel better soon. tfs
What’s Christmas without a red satin bow?! Another lovely, Becca.
You may call it “simple” but it is beautiful! You can’t make anything that isn’t just jaw-dropping gorgeous!!! Please feel better soon because we all miss your postings so much! Praying for you.
Beautiful as always, but I have a question. How do you attach the ribbon as it wraps the final layer? Do you just tape it down on back and inside, or slit the side and wrap it? If the latter, do you tack it down so that it doesn’t slide?
Absolutely elegant. Again, the bow is my focus…you are the Best.
The satin ribbon makes all the difference on this card, it’s absolutely beautiful and elegant. The pearls add that perfect finish.
Becca, you are making me BROKE ($$$$$). I have to do everything you do because it’s so beautiful; well, I try but will never get it just like yours. Just sayin’. I’m one of your biggest fans. Sam
Your idea of ‘simple’ is certainly different from mine! Beautiful card, and I love this paper also. Will have to hunt for it. Sure hope you are feeling much better, and thanks for sharing these last 2 lovely creations. Both are just gorgeous…as usual.
Such gorgeous inspiration! I don’t know if this would help you but sometimes I work standing up! My husband started it by buying a special computer desk for his office that puts the computer at the proper height to work standing up. I have just stacked up some paper stacks and my granddaughter’s large story books to get things at a height where I’m not bending over my desk. It doesn’t work for everything but I can get a lot of prep work done and at least I am changing positions rather that sitting all the time.
This is beautiful!! So “Christmas-y”!! You are a design genius!!
Another beautiful simple card.. so gorgeous with all the pearls all over and the ribbon is so beautiful with the paper… Love the spellbinder.. A great card.
Hugs, Jean
I agree, the paper is beautiful but your card enhances the beauty of the paper. I hope this finds you feeling better. My prayers are with you, knowing that He will make you better.
Beautiful, lovely touch of the pearls with your paper and the neat layering on the sentiment, Gorgeous bow!
Becca,

This is soo beautiful Becca, I just love it.
Wow, such a beautiful card. Your cards are a gifts in themselves.
Such a gorgeous card!! I always love cards with contrast like this one rather than when all the elements are similar in color and blend together. The bright red on this is so pretty and stands out against the background colors. Love all the bling, as well!!!
I like so much your simplicity… It is beautiful!
I am very happy you are back and wish you feel well..
Merci beaucoup. Francine
Very simple? I think not. Very snazzy – yes. Very beautiful – yes. Very everything wonderful = yes. All to say, you done did it again!

Absolutely beautiful! (as usual).
Wow — gorgeous!
This is a beautiful card! I really like how the pearl embellishment compliments the paper. I’m feeling your pain since I hurt my back and can’t sit at my desk, either. Have to try since I need to make an encouragement card.
Just beautiful Becca love the colors and the DP. I like the pearls as an accent. Those die-cuts really add depth and texture. As always Becca, TFS!!! :-D
