Hi there. I have a subdued card today as I try to move closer to fall tones, I think that’s just how I’m feeling. It’s still blazing summer around me so I guess in my heart I’m longing for fall. I picked a superb sentiment by Quietfire Design called The Secret of Genius. I decided to showcase it on a layer of Spellbinders Classic Diamonds and Spellbinders Labels Sixteen. I added a ribbon and pearls to balance.
For decoration on the ends of the Labels Sixteen, I snipped through one of the vertical lines on Spellbinders Fancy Tags and that made it so that I could slip it over the end of my panel.

On another note, I wanted to share an event for a worthy cause that’s happening all over blog land. A blog hop and auction to benefit the Susan G Komen Foundation. A huge group of designers have a hop and auction going on – you can check out all the details HERE at the Skipping Stone Designs Blog. Check out that list of talent!!! Be sure to click and follow around to see the stunning cards that are being offered for auction – this started last week and the bids for the auctions close this Thursday at 8pm MST. Kudos to Heather for organizing everything and persisting so we can work to beat breast cancer, one card at a time!!
Thanks for stopping by, I really appreciate it!
Beautiful card, I had to laugh at the sentiment as my mom used to say (she is now deceased) “You will never grow up!” Since I am 59 I guess she was right! lol. Thanks for sharing all your beautiful work!
Another gorgeous card. I love the way you combine the nestabilites shapes. TFS and have a blessed week.
It’s like looking in a toy store window when I come to “Amazing Paper Grace”. I want the dies, the paper, the stamps, and I am wowed by the creativity. Clipping the tag was such a nice idea.
I realized this morning that I had not rec’d an update from my favorite card designer for awhile! Maybe your computer problems are affecting your loyal fans, too.
I am so ready for Fall and I love the colors you selected for this card. The sentiment is wonderful, too.
Thanks for sharing, Becca
I’M A FOREVER Fan, Becca!! You Truly Inspire me!! The great combinations of Spellbinders are just Amazing, you’ve really opened my eyes! Thank you! :)
What a beautiful card Becca. So elegant, wonderful layout and your bows are simply gorgeous.
You may call it subdued. But I call it beautiful.
Superbe!!

Very pretty!
Becca, this is an absolute BEAUTY!! I’ve missed you! :D. Hugs, Sabrina
Stunning card Becca!!!
I love your card. I too am longing for those crisp cool mornings, sunny afternoons and beautiful bursts of fall color.
I was traveling yesterday and stopped for a break. Someone had spilled dog food on the concrete and someone else had run over it. All the different colors were mixed together in an aray of fall colors. I kept thinking I could take a picture of that, enlarge it and print it off for a neat fall paper!
It becomes obsessive!
Great quote. Think I may be a genius :D My hubby says I’m just an over grown kid at 48 LOL! Beautifully framed sentiment and card.
Beautiful card Becca and lovely sentiment.
Love the card and the stand just makes it look priceless!
You call it subdued and I call it elegant. Your work is always
a challenge for me.
Magnificent card!! The moment I saw this card I said Wow “out loud”
( again)
I do that a lot when I look at your creations. I love the layered diamond and Lables 16. TFS
Hi Becca, I have come to really look forward to your creations every day! As usual, you created another beautiful card! I just love your style! I too, am longing for cooler weather! Thanks for sharing!

Very pretty card Becca.
I too look forward to your post everyday.
Like I said before, someday when I grow up I want to be just like you!!
( Even though I am probably older than you already :-)……….)
Becka, I love that stand that you use in your photos to keep your cards in the upright position. Where can I get one? Even if it is the one that has like many nails, it could be OK.
Love the little fancy tags detail…so pretty.
Beautiful Becca!! Love the colours and framing and your bow is divine!!
A most beautiful card, Becca. I think my father had this secret. Everyone loved him to matter their age. He was so much fun to be with and could talk to anyone about anything. I like to think I am doing the same.
Hugs, Candy
Very pretty! I love the way you layer the Spellbinder dies. I just received #14 and #16 – they are so pretty to work with! Also, you have some beautiful sayings that you use on your cards. I will just have to check out their websites as well. Thanks for sharing your talent with us.
so pretty, just love your layering of all the dies, just terrific!
So beautiful, a wonderful choice of colours.
