The Secret of Happiness

One of my favorite sentiments, for sure and so, so true!!  Good morning blog friends!  I hope the start of your week is truly magnificent.  I’m kicking off my week with the Mojo Monday sketch – Mojo192, so I hope you’ll indulge me.

I used Spellbinders Label Eight as a frame and trimmed it out using my Tight Mats tutorial.  The sentiment is mounted on a medallion of Spellbinders Lacey Circles, Spellbinders Standard Circles LG and Spellbinders Standard Circles SM.  Along the bottom of the card I used a teeny tiny scalloped border punch as well as the larger border punch.   I can confirm the lace I’m using today (and yesterday) came from Michaels — it must have been seasonal as it was on an end cap.  I paired the lace with some seam binding (if you are looking for this, simply Google the brand Hug Snug) that I dyed with Victorian Velvet Distress Ink reinker and tied with the Figure Eight Loops technique on my Peg Bow Maker.

SUPPLIES I USED
Stamps: Serendipity Stamps – The Secret of Happiness
Paper:  K & Co., Bazzill, Coredinations Pearl
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black and Embossing Powder, Vintage Photo Distress Ink, Victorian Velvet Distress Ink (used to dye ribbon)
Accessories: Spellbinders Labels Eight, Spellbinders Lacey Circles, Spellbinders Standard Circles LG, Spellbinders Standard Circles SM, EK Success Moroccan Punch, EK Success Ribbon Border Punch, Recollections Pearls (Michaels), Lace (Michaels), Gold Rimmed Pearl (Michaels), Corsage Pin (Joann’s), Round Pearls (Michaels)

Thanks for stopping by today, remember to come see me some time after midnight tonight, lol, well I guess that means tomorrow.
