Hello there blog friends! Okay this is different, but it is what it is, lol. I sat down to play with a vague idea in mind and here’s what came out. I always love pocket cards so I made this one with a negative cut out of the front. It let me make a peek-a-boo window! This is one of the flattest designs I ever remember making but I like having the inside card as well as the outside pocket to decorate.
I was playing around with Spellbinders Classic Scallop Edgeabilities and Classic Triple Scallop Edgeabilities to see how easily they would work going around the corner and I’m pleased that they work quite well. Since the edgeabilities all are consistently spaced 1″ between elements, it makes it pretty easy to line up to go around the corner. I used the Classic Scallop on the top and bottom and the Classic Scallop paired with the Triple Scallop on the sides. I used the frame from Spellbinders Twisted Metal Tags and Accents as a top piece 
and it also works for a decoration you can see inside the window. I cut the Peek-a-boo window with Spellbinders Labels Twenty Two and also stamped my sentiment on the same. A bow on the outside finishes it off!!. The sentiment is a new release this month from Our Daily Bread Designs, and is one from the Blessings Collection called Sewn with Love.

BTW, I copied the picture and instructions of your peg-bow maker and took to our local lumber company and one of the guys made me two sets (one for me and one for a friend and fellow card fanatic). Just can not believe the awesome work you do. would love to see a tutorial on this card. I had asked previously where you found your hugs seambinding which I now have found however I am still unable to find your stick pin protectors. Can you give me a hint. How about a tutorial on your stick pins. lol
Gorgeous. Navy and white is another one of my all time favorite color combos. Might have something to do with working on a naval base for so many years. This is gorgeous paper and will defintely have to pick some of this up. I am a huge fan of your more dimentional cards, but I have to tell you this is strikingly beautiful with out all the fluff needed. Must be the gorgeous larger patterned paper which is so lovely all by it self and the pearls are just the right touch to the inside. Love this sentiment set and how nicely it accompanies the new shaped nesties.

In a word stunning. This is really an eye opener. Beautiful all over composition and the colors are so regal looking. I love the contrast of the floral with the stripes which is always a winner. As always Becca, TFS!!! :-D
Pretty, pretty, pretty!! I love all your cards, but this one is extra special, for one thing, since it’s so flat! Also like the 2 in one aspect of it. Glad to hear that you’re getting some rain down there. (sorry Texas!) The coffee sounds delicious! Forgot to tell you that I made your peg bow maker awhile ago…I’ve been making bows like mad, they come out soooo nice! I did make mine with 2 extra holes, another at 1″ and with a 1.5″ on either end. Not really for cards, since 99% of mine are A2 (for OWH), but I might get inspired for wrapping presents and want BIGGER bows! Thanks for the push to do it. Looking at all your gorgeous bows, finally made me get off my butt and DO it!

Gorgeous card as always Becca! That coffee sounds wonderful! It is cooler out here tonight and has been without the usual Jersey humidity all day, too bad I was indoors most of the day trying to straighten up my guest/craft room!!!
Well, this is quite different but also quite beautiful. You never cease to amaze me with your ideas. You are truly a designer. Geez I wish we had some of that rain in TX, we are scorching and dry as a bone. Enjoy your rain and thunderstorms. Sooooooo happy to see you back and to know you’re okay Becca and oh I would love some of that coffee but you can keep the rain as we have had heaps of it it over here in the UK. Don’t quite understand how you made it, but I do so love it! You make such unique cards that I rarely ever can figure out how you made them. I would love to see videos how to make some of your cards, especially like this one. (I know you are busy and I so respect your time and appreciate ANY video tuts that you take time to do…. my hubby made me a bow maker!)

Excellent card idea! I love it, it’s gorgeous! I love the dark blue with white, and that tag decoration is fantastic, but I think I like the peek-a-boo pocket the most. I’ve got to try that!
