The Winter Night

Hi there blog friends!  Popping in to show a tiny shaped card that was a cinch to put together.  I resort to something like this when I know I have several to make and know they can be (semi-) mass produced.  I’ll have a handful of these go along with some baked cookie and bread gifts as well as some hot cocoa gift sets I keep on hand.  If I can catch my sweet UPS driver delivering something, then, the gifties are sitting right by the door!  I pulled the sentiment from Our Daily Bread Designs, it’s called Snowflake Sentiments

My goal was to cut all the dies in one pass and then I have everything ready for the assembly and gluing.  I started with a card base using Spellbinders™ Jar Labels (cut while doubled).  On top of that I placed the filigree element and deer from Spellbinders™ Frosty Forms.  The label from the sentiment was cut from Spellbinders™ Labels Twenty Eight.   Unlike the larger cards I tend to make, this little one comes in just under 5″ wide by 4″ tall – perfect for an A2 envelope :-)

Ink: Amuse – Cranberry, French Roast

Sending blessings and huge hugs!!

This also reflects the feelings emoted by the horrific tragedy in Sandy Hook. It is winter of their lives, and only God’s grace, through all the thoughts and prayers of the nation, can help them heal.ReplyCancel

Really love this one, Becca. First, I’m a sucker for reindeer and second, A2 size cards are the preferred size for Operation Write Home. Since I never know which of my cards I’m going to end up sending to OWH, I almost always make A2’s. Thanks for posting this one!
