Hi there blog friends, I’m about to burst!! I may have hinted that “something seriously cool” was going to happen in August and guess what, only three more sleeps until I can reveal it here. Have I piqued your curiousity? So to celebrate this “something seriously cool”, I’m giving away blog candy to those brave enough to venture a guess. You all usually try to guess anyway so why not be in the running for some goodies? Wait a minute! I know someone will say – didn’t you just release stamps. Yes, that’s true – I just released three sets of stamps with JustRite Papercrafts in July – but that’s not it – it’ll be a little bit tougher to guess than that!! So in your comment, leave your best guess today and then come back tomorrow to guess again; there will be a post for you to guess every day until I can reveal on Wednesday, August 15th and I’ll announce a winner then too (randomly pulled from the three days of comments). The candy is a $35.00 gift card, once picked, the winner has 24 hours to respond.
In the meantime, I have a card to share today using one of this month’s releases from JustRite Papercrafts. One of my favorite new die templates is Spellbinders Botanical Swirls and Accents. I used the motif to make a criss-cross card. It fit perfectly on the JustRite Papercrafts Fragrant Garden Background Stamp released this month. I centered the sentiment on Spellbinders™ Asian Accents using the JustRite Antique Autumn Tags One set and finished off with some prima paper roses and foliage using Spellbinders™ Foliage.
Several of you had the sweetest idea to tuck a card in my dear daughters suitcase. Well, that didn’t happen but this will get sent along this week just to let her know I’m thinking of her. Thank you for such a wonderful idea!

Wow, this is stunning, you never cease to amaze me with every card you make, they are the fabulous. I received you beautiful new stamps from JustRite and can’t wait to use them. I madly trying to get the basement organized and it’s taking forever. I think I’m going to use your DVD with Magnet sheet ideas to store my dies that are not Spellbinder. Your card is fabulous as always. There is not much more room up at the top of my favourite Becca cards list. There are just so many of them. But this one was squeezed in because it’s a dandy.

I have to agree with many of the other comments. I belived your own line of die cuts. I would also like to see a book with all of your tips and techniques as your cards are beautiful.

As alwlays, the card is gorgeous, just don’t know how you come up with your color choices, it takes me hourse sometimes.
All my answers have been taken up, but I’ll just guess and say it’s some kind of book-how to. (Does that make sense?) What ever it is, I know it’ll be a success.
First off, I absolutely LOVE the richness of this card. I don’t usually steer towards such dark colors, at least all on one card, but this card is exraordinary! A lot of thoughts have run through my mind as far as what you are going to reveal on Wednesday, but this particular thought keeps coming back to me … you are going to become part owner of Justrite Stampers, or you are going to start your own stamp and matching die company. Justrite Stampers has really come a long way in the past year, I just love all their new products, so different than any other rubber stamp site, so just being associated with them has to be a huge honor.

My guess is your designing some dies also
Becca I just adore this card! Now let me tell you Spellbinders would be crazy not to ask you to create a line of dies as you have so graciously show cased their dies on your cards. What ever it is God is blessing you again and no one is more deserving good luck.

Becca, as usual, love the card! But then you have never made one that I didn’t love. Your talent amazes me. As to your new venture, perhaps you are going to be designing dies to go along with your new stamp creations. That would be an amazing combination.

As soon as I saw that you had a big announcement to make my guess was some partnering with Spellbinders. I met the owner of Spellbinders and her mother briefly at CHA several years ago and I was so impressed at what wonderful people they are. You have such a great eye for design and are such a wonderful person also that I think that would be a perfect fit!

I feel your excitement and its sure hard to wait for your announcement! With all that you do right now Becca in the crafting world, the sky is the limit on the possibilities! I sure hope that whatever it is you are in your element and in love with the doing of it. People call it work but I always say, if you love what you do – you never have to work another day in your life!! So, I’m going to venture a guess at something I would love to see you doing with your gifted and creative spirit… Its time to begin your own business, hopefully launching an invention of your own – a new system or tool that will set the crafting world on its axis… more on the next comment…

There are so many things you would be capable of, but I’m thinking you may design Spellbinders dies to match your stamps, or something slong the designing line.
Im going to have to say Spellbinders! You have created dies to go with your stamp sets from Justrite and they are giving you your own line in your name. Hope I’m right! Loved how you criss crossed the dies on front of your card. I don’t think that I would have thought to do that. Great idea!

Love your card Becca. That blue is such a pretty blue. Your techniques are yours and yours along. So elegant and yet not done to the extreme. I would love to be in a position to look at a project through your eyes so I could see how you look at things. I keep thinking you are going to start your own stamp company and have Spellbinders dies to match your stamps. Whatever the venture, you will be fantastic at the endeavor. You always are. And you must have a great deal of patients, like when you work with punches to figure out yet another way to use it. That takes time and patients!! Bless you with your new venture. I haven’t a clue to what is coming, but I’m sure it will be fabulous! My favorite thing about card making, is how much all of my friends and family enjoy and even look forward to receiving my cards and/or gifts. Some of them even keep them. For one of my best friends’ birthday, I made her cards to send to others, she loved it. Thank you for sharing your gift!
I was sort of stumped on this so I asked the “card fairy” to grant me three guesses … my first guess would be you have created a line of papers and specialty dies….my second guess would be your own “on-line” store and my
