It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC12). Kimberly Crawford is our challenge hostess this week. She clearly has a challenge that will make you see things in a whole new way. She is challenging us to use acetate or clear cardstock. You can use clear acetate in many ways. Whether it is for the card base, a frame, windows, embellishments, or some unique way you have to showcase acetate, we cannot wait to see what you create.
I love using clear acetate and have shed my fear of stamping on it. Because I use two layers together I don’t get caught up on or stressed about doing it perfectly on the first stamping. For our challenge I decided to use those fabulous sentiments from the Flourishes Timeless Quotes. For the background I used one of my favorite stamps – Flourishes Damask Background. For the framing I used Spellbinders Scalloped Frame Die for the exterior frame and for the interior frame I used Spellbinders Classic Frame.
Card Supplies:
Stamps: Flourishes Timeless Quotes, Flourishes Damask Background
Paper: The Paper Company – Cottonwood, K & Co.
Ink: Black Stazon
Accessories: Spellbinders Scalloped Frame, Spellbinders Classic Frame, Ribbon, Brads
Don’t forget to pop in and see what the other Friends of Flourishes did to rock this challenge!

Amazing! You have been blessed with a wonderful talent Becca. Thank you for so generously sharing your creations with us.
ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!! One of the prettiest cards I have ever seen. Becca, you are amazing!
Becca, I just love that sentiment! The first time I saw it I was in love! Ok maybe not in love, but I really do like it a lot. :) I even bought a sticker from our Christian bookstore with that quote on it! Can’t wait to save up to actually buy it someday.
Love your card. You make everything look so easy.
Hi Becca!! This one is gorgeous too.!! I love the color. Very soothing to me!!
Becca, this is gorgeous!!! Great colors and love the framed acetate sentiment. I am off to check out the link for that cool frame, too. Beautiful, girl!!! Blessings to you and yours!!!!
How do you manage to figure out such stunning projects time after time? I am going insane trying to keep up with all the Spellbiners! I am living on Social Security and have to really watch what I spend, but every time you show a different Nestability or other Spellbinders templates I go nuts. I just have to have them all! I make the birthday cards that get sent out to the ladies in my church and with all the right tools and your beautiful examples I am able to create some very stunning cars. Thanks so very much for all you do.
You have a lovely, elegant style and this card is beautiful, as always! What really struck me with this one, though, is the unusual ribbon. It’s just gorgeous! Can you share where you found it?
God bless – and thank you for the continual inspiration.
This card is so beautiful (one more!). You must have a really great collection of spellbinders, I wish I have it too :)
Thanks for sharing your amazing talent with us.
I love your cards and follow your blog daily. I am terrified of acetate. Can you please give us a tutorial on how you mastered it? What do you mean by “using 2 layers together”? Thanks for sharing your gift with us.
Out of this world fantastic – Becca!!! WOWZER!!! What a fab frame and the way you used the clear CS is clever :)!!! Absolutely love this card!!!! Hugs ~S~
Love the ribbon! Love the whole card, actually! Thank you for the reminder and excellent tip of stamping twice on clear CS or acetate and layering to avoid tears and fears of stamping on the stuff LOL Can’t wait to see more tips and techniques on your site. Especially the one for lining up a punched border!
Becca,
WOW!!!! THAT, is a stunning card.
Very well done.

Wow! This reminds me of a one-of-a-kind decorated cake! Fantastic!
Very beautiful Becca!
Becca,
Ok, I love it when you use acetate on your cards! This one is so gorgeous, I love how you popped up the acetate layer, and have a patterned paper that shows through behind it! I have got to give this idea a try! Thanks so much for the inspiration, it makes me wonder what I can come up with!
