Hello blog friends! Ah, much better today, I’m ready to start a new week and hope you are too!! What better way to start than Mojo Monday? Working with sketch Mojo 197 was an easy one! I love square cards and find that’s what I do when I’m crunched for time and have to get.it.done. I inked up two different Waltzingmouse Stamps sets to finish up my card; Words of Wisdom and Very Vintage Labels No 2. I initially thought the card would be heavy on the left side, but I think the design paper balances it out a little bit. (By the way, many of you have asked me about this design paper. It’s an embossed paper that was put out by K & Co and I believe it is discontinued. There’s a small chance that it’s in one of their collections, but I don’t know that for sure. This particular paper is a Brenda Walton paper called Brianna. I am down to my last sheet so if anyone happens to find it, please let me know, lol!!).
After getting the card size set and laying down a couple of mat layers, I cut/embossed my Waltzingmouse image with Spellbinders Labels Two. Since I wanted a frame, I used Spellbinders Classic Ovals LG to cut the frame then used Spellbinders Classic Ovals SM for my sentiment. I just love frames because they’re an interesting element. It’s a nifty way to carry the color from your background across your card! From there I just embellished to match the sketch using seam binding with a peg bow and a fabulous vintage button as well as a felt flower from my leftovers basket. I did a tutorial on felt flowers back in January – you can find it HERE.

Oh, what a lovely card! You always use such beautiful papers on your cards. I really love how you cut out the oval, and put your sentiment on a smaller size oval inside the label. Such a simple thing – but, it adds so much to your design. Thank you for so generously sharing your talent with us. It really inspires us.
Beautiful!
Love that precious little felt flower. Did you already teach us how to do that?
This is just so different! Love the cut out in the center of the first label!!!
Hey Becca, I love your card, the labels die is grand, and the sentiment too. Sweet an straight to the point! I’ll bet you’ve been trying to figure out what my comments mean…I just discovered that I should have been commenting above the picture, not below it! lol I’ve got it now though! lol
Hugs, Jessica

Very nice card Becca. By the way, I have tried the crocheted flowers and love making them. So far I have one too large for a card but would make a nice broach and the other is pretty mucha good size. Thanks for all the tips.
Hi Becca,
I love your card. It is such a challenge for me to make a card with just a sentiment but you are such an inspiration. Your sentiment cards are always so beautifully elegant. Thanks for everything you do girlie.
Have a beautiful day.
Hugs,
Deb
All I can say is “WOW! What a lovely card. You’ve got all my favourite elements on it. The Bow (with bling) knocks my socks off every time, the stick pin which always cranks a card up a few notches in my book, the frame is fabulous, the sentiment, and the oh so delightful paper. It’s precious.
Becca this is lovely, you sure give us some wonderful ideas. Just hope I can follow them.
Hugs Trish.
Another lovely card Becca. The button is gorgeous! Where did you get that? I am a button collector and have been since being a little girl and have some authentic vintage but just can’t part with them, LOL. Do you get reproductions?
Check out Overstock.com for “best of Brenda Walton” paper. It might be there!!
Beautiful! Just love the way the sentiment oval just seems to float inside the frame.
Blessings Bernie

Love your card, as always, Becca. That paper looked familiar and I found it in a K&Company paper pad that I have entitled “Brenda Walton Super K”. I’m sure I bought it at Michael’s several years ago. Good luck on your hunt for that paper.
So pretty. I actually have some of this paper. Don’t you hate using your last piece of paper you love.
Another stunning card Becca…I just love how you use the wonderful papers and the colours you use always fit so well..then all pulled together with alot of love.
