Today I’m sharing a sweet little tutorial that has been on my to do list for a long time. It’s so easy, I don’t know what took me so long! Last year I had a blog hop and had to think of something other than a card, in a pinch. In the wee hours of the morning the simplicity of this little button caddy came to me. Whenever I think of buttons I just smile. They are so very addicting and I collected them when I started sewing. Don’t collect buttons? Tailor this caddy to carry something else :-)
To keep within the allotted time, I had to heavily edit this video – why oh why can’t I just talk faster, lol?
Here are the supplies you will need:
Heavy card stock – 1 sheet 12″ x 12″
Design Paper – 1 sheet 12″ x 12″
Scor-Pal or Scor-Buddy
Scor-Tape
1″ Circle Punch
Craft Knife
Two Small Jars
Assorted Button
An earnest request: tutorials and videos like these take a lot of time to set up and produce. It’s my pleasure to make them and I would so appreciate if you could please link here instead of copying my content or putting my video on your blog. If you like it and make one to show on your blog, please link back to my post so that others may enjoy this for free as well :-)
This is an excellent – frugal gift!!
Take care blog friends!! I hope you are having a glorious weekend!!
That is GORGEOUS!! Thank you for the tutorial!! Always appreciate you!
You are so very talented Becca! Thank you for sharing it with all of us!
Very cute and like the colors. Edna
Another great tutorial. Thanks Becca. Just to say that you can actually stop people showing your video on their own sites by not allowing embedding when you publish, or have published, your video to You Tube. If you go to My Video then click on Edit on whichever video you want to disallow embedding on, scroll down until you see Embed on the left, click on it and you have choices as to allow or not. You should be able to do it as you publish as well but you can certainly go in afterwards and do it for all of your previous videos as well. That way other people will have no choice but to at least use a You Tube link, if not your blog link.
Becca,
Feel like I’ve been so blessed by your talent on loan from God to share with us. Just happened to see a piece of work that someone did giving you the credit and giving your website from Splitcoaststampers. Now I can’t wait to see what you will be showing next. Thanks again!
Thank you for sharing this wonderful little caddy. Love it.
I think there is nothing you can’t do, everything you do is wonderful.

What a wonderful little caddy! Pretty and useful too. Only you could think this up. Do you ever sleep? I have trouble keeping up reading your blog and cannot imagine doing all you do for us. It is greatly appreciated.

Oh wouldn’t this be adorable on the Easter table with little jars of jelly beans, or even salt/papper shakers. You are just TOO creative!
Becca, your generosity in sharing, not only your talent but so much of your time to share these wonderful tutorials. I shall try this tutorial as it is so beautifully constructed. Pink, yes, ah, pink, so girly and so light and airy of a color. I was reading some comments and love some of the neat ideas. I don’t have a camera or a blog so I do enjoy your love for card making and teaching me so many tricks.
Have a blessed week in Our LORD.
Hugs, Jeanielou in PA

Becca – what a wonderful project – fun, and so many uses. Thanks for the tutorial too – makes it so much easier. I love the way you actually put the sizes of everything on the “screen” during the tutorial. It makes it so nice! Have a wonderful weekend.
Oh, Becca, this project is absolutely over the top awesome! You always make such wonderful things – and, they look so “complicated”. But, your tutorials are so well done that you make it seem so simple – simple enough for us less creative types to attempt! THANK YOU for so generously sharing with us!! We really do appreciate it soooo much.
Becca! This is TOO SWEET!!!! ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE!!!!! Thank you for the tutorial!!! You did a SUPER JOB!!!!!!!!!! :) WHAT TALENT!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a great idea! Thanks so much for the video:)
I always look forward to your posts & tutorials! Cute
little carry tote.
Once again you have outdone yourself…how cute would that be for the holidays to hold containers that have mixes in them – like cookies or hot chocolate! And thanks for how I can share you amazing work through my blog. I take it that to have a final photo and link back everything else would be ok?? There are a couple other companies that prefer that as well. Thanks so much for the amazing work that you do – and create!!
Looking forward to the next newsletter!
Jackie
Oh yes I remember that gorgeous caddy – it is so gorgeous and I just love those sweet little button bottles.
Becca thanks for the instructions, I love making boxes this would make a nice little gift for anything.
I remember this Becca, so gorgeous. Wonderful tutorial. Thanks :)
Oh, Becca, I love buttons! I have aphoachary jars full of buttons that I have collected. As much as I love them, sometimes it’s difficult to let them go! I love your cool caddy! What a great idea!. Sharing is lovely and I have plenty of buttons to share so I am going to make this project! Thanks again for your tutorials. Love them all!
How sweet is that!!!! It’s absolutely adorable! I don’t know anyone who would appreciate buttons but I think with the proper papers and embellishments it would make a cute Father’s Day gift, fill the jars with knots and bolts or nuts and candies. For a new baby cotton balls and Q-tips. The first one I make will be for a my sister who loves candles and long baths so I’ll put in one of those candles in a jar and a bottle of bath salts. So many possibilities! Love it! Thanks for the inspiration and the tutorial. Your tutorials are wonderful and I love your sweet voice. Wouldn’t be right if you spoke faster.
Blessings Bernie
Oh Becca what a beautiful gift and many thanks for your great tuorial to go with. Please stay the way you are and never think about changing anything…as well as watching your tutorials I love to listen to you as well…you would have made a great teacher.
Love Sheila xx
This is just gorgeous Becca, and as always you´ve done an amazing job here. I really love all your tutorials sooo much, you´re sooo great to explain things easily.
After Spellbinders and some JustRite stamps my third wish for would be more of the Whiff of Joy girl stamps. Wish some of the older ones I see in various archives were still available.
I saw that some commenters on your button post were wishing for cheap buttons. I have a Sizzix Sizzlit die that cuts 4 different buttons and at my crop shop they have a punch that does about the same. Then you can always have the exact color you need as well as an endless supply. Thought you might like to pass that on.
