Tying the Knot

Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken using Waltzingmouse Stamps - Tying the Knot
Hi there sweet friends!  Thanks so much for letting me share about Bailey.  It makes my heart just melt to know how many animal lovers are out there.  Since I’ve been sooooo very long winded the last few days, this is a short one :-)   This is a simple card I’m sharing over on the Waltzingmouse Inspiration Blog.  As is often the case, creativity follows true life and I create as I have occasion in real life for cards.  I have a some friends that just got married so I made this card in duplicate, saving one to send out and one for my stash.  Pearls and gems fit perfectly with the rope accents from the Waltzingmouse Stamps set called Tying the Knot.  I simply embossed in silver and fussy cut the knot and mounted it underneath the stamped and embossed sentiment.  It doesn’t get much easier than this to whip up a card for any occasion that comes along!

I like the knot! Being a Wife, Mom, and MIL of military men for over 41 years, I have a soft spot for anything nautical. This knot especially as an old friend tied this knot for me when Ken retired from the Navy (my hubby). I just found the tutorial on Pinterest on how to tie that knot! Thank you for sharing, the card is lovely. Have a wonderful week.

Morning Becca, I don’t know how – but I missed your post about Bailey until today when I read your today’s post – so I scrolled backwards and read about her. I salute you and your Daughter for all your determination and never giving up attitude, and it paid off ‘big time’. Bailey has been a ‘God-send’ to you and also you have been a ‘God-send’ to her. A really happy outcome.
Your card today is gorgeously elegant, ideal for a Wedding card, I’m loving the sentiment too.
    God Bless.
Lots of love from Patricia xxReplyCancel
