Good morning sweet blog friends! This is my second post of the day, if you want to check out the first, you can get there by this link ——–> HERE or you can scroll down. Also don’t forget, I’m offering some pretty cool blog candy that’s up for grabs until Wednesday, May 29th. Feeling lucky? Click ———>HERE to get to the post where you need to leave a comment or simply scroll back to my post of May 24th. A little coloring, a little smudging, a little hand died ribbon and some vintage paper came together for a birthday card from a new JustRite Papercrafts set called Irises Vintage Labels Four. The card features a custom die template called Vintage Labels Four and pairs it up with some frilly accent dies in Spellbinders® Timeless Rectangles and Spellbinders® Vintage Lace Motifs as well as the pennant from JustRite Vintage Label and Banner Dies.
So to recap the layers I used from the bottom up, I started with a 5-1/2″ x 7″ card base, foam tape (optional), brown matting layer 5″ x 6-5/8″, foam tape (optional), purple matting layer 4-5/8″ x 6-3/8″, design paper layer 4-1/2″ x 6-1/4″, foam tape (optional), Vintage Labels Four in purple (cut in fourths and spread to create matting layer), Vintage Lace Motif accent on four round ends, Vintage Labels Four in design paper, pennant with sentiment, foam tape (optional), Timeless Rectangles, Vintage Labels Four. Attach ribbons and sentiment on appropriate layer.

Busy day :-) Looks like it might be a busy week! So glad you stopped by and I’ll see you soon!
What a beautiful card. I love your color combination! Blessings!
It’s divine Becca! Absolutely perfect! Nicola x
Very elegant
Wow…you are sooooo ROCKIN’ today girl. Oh my goodness! Iris are one of my many Fave’s. Beautiful color, paper, ribbon, pins, lace; everything! The layering is awesome! Thank you for sharing. You inspire me every time I see one of your cards or projects!
this is stunning! Gorgeous colors and I love those stick pins.
I love this card.. Purple is my favorite color. I need to use what I have-so many tools I have bought and rarely if ever do I use them, like my brayer or crop-a-dilemma.
Of course the complete card is awesome, but when I break it down, wow!
You’re an inspiration to many, just look at how you manage to work two different types of ribbon into the card. One, a regular ribbon, the other a lace! Very cool.
Next, I love how you brighten up your bows by adding something new and different to them. You’ve inspired me to use thin wire to wrap my centers tight, so that I can add fancy brads to my ribbon centers. Thank you for sharing and teaching as you do.
You have a heart of gold!
Oh my! This is absolutely stunning! Iris’ are my favorite flower and I think you did GOD proud on this card! ;) GORGEOUS!

Valerie Martin

Oh Becca, what a wonderful way to start your morning, with a gorgeous card made by you and reading your blog!!!
You are so very talented, create such master pieces of art!
May God continue to Bless you and all of us who follow your blog.
Yummmm! Just viewed your “purple” card and I’m going to have to try to make something similar today ’cause I love it and I seldom use purple. As to what I would like to know more about using… I bought a good sized roll of masking paper at a recent paper craft show and watched the demo several times to get the technique firmly in my mind. I found the roll the other day and wondered, “What is this?” for a few days before remembering anything about it, I remembered it was masking tape but can’t remember the technique! It had to have been pretty cool or I would never have bought it… I have to be very careful at those shows about what I buy. Out of the 10 or so that I wanted, I had to narrow it down to 4 or 5 (your bow maker was one of them… I needed that CD ’cause I always forget how to use the Bow Maker and had no tutorials to refer to anymore!). Guess I’ll go to YouTube today and see what I can find out. Ooops, almost forgot… thanks for the chance to win some goodies!!
So pretty. It says Spring is here, and I can almost smell the Irish. Love the layers, and your instruction for them. Have a great holiday. Looking forward to your next post.
Fabulous Becca! And my favourite colour to boot! What more can I say!Christine xx

I just love the use do colour and combination of the dies here Becca.
Very inpsiring. Many thanks for your sharing with our creative world.
Hi Becca, This card is truly beautiful, the Iris stamp is gorgeous and the compilation of the card is stunning, loving the purple, and the backing paper is gorgeous.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
Becca, I know nothing about digital paper– but I just “had to have” this so I could copy your card. I ordered the Antique paper 1 backgrounds and now I don’t know what to do with it. Each “background” is only ATC size. How did you make it “card” size??? Thanks!
I love the vintage effect– watercolor softness. The smudging and ghost-like image stamping on the background are so inviting. Always love how you layer things so well too.
Just love this card, the colours, the stamps, the lot! Thanks for sharing.
Margaret
Gorgeous, such lovely coloring and your combo of dies is lovely!
Becca, thanks again for the chance to win such great blog candy!!! I appreciate your sharing another one of your beautiful creations.
Joanne

Tres chic – I love the background paper and the iris obviously! great die combo.
Your cards are beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
So very pretty!
Your card is just perfect Becca, so elegant!
The card is absolutely beautiful!! Love the iris and the hand dyed ribbon just finishes the antique look!!
Gorgeous card… you have inspired me to purchase some additional spellbinders. I really could use those cd boxes to house them!!
Although this is not a tool per se…. I would LOVE to learn new paper folds… I am always looking for new ideas in that area.
Ever since finding your site, I can’t stop making cards!!! Although I do not have all the Spellbinder dies, embossing folders, or JustRite and ODB stamps, I do my best to substitute. I would love for you to do a blog page about how to get more out of my dies than just the standard cut and emboss.
Beautiful – every layer!
Thank you Becca for all your inspiration and giveaways…you are wonderful…and very talented! Robin
A beauty!! Love the colors!
Since I seem to be befuddled when it comes to achieve putting the comment re: your contest ques. in the right place, I guess I need more knowledge on using the computer.
Re; this card, Irises are so beautiful, and you have captured that. your cards are a joy.
Oh my goodness, mauve, vintage and Becca! What a knock-out combination. It is simply gorgeous. I don’t know what else to say, this card has it all!
Such pretty purple. If I remember right, you don’t do much purple. Great job in incorporating it so well into the card.
I love your cards Becca, the colours are beautiful.
