Hi there blog friends. What a week it has been!! My highlight has been some of the little items I’m making in the background that you’ll get to see in July, and of course the frame pincushion. I’ve got my ears wide open to hear if anyone has found the frames and if anyone has tried to make one!! That brings me to my card today . . .did I mention that JustRite Stampers is releasing new stamps all week? Well, they are!! There’s something for everyone in this release but it wouldn’t quite be complete without some new Christmas stamps for us to play with :-). I’m still tinkering with Clean and Simple (for me) and today I even pulled out the Copic markers!!
The stamp set is one illustrated by Diane Arthurs and is called Warmest Wishes. I layered up a hand cut pennant with Spellbinders Lacey Ovals, Spellbinders Standard Ovals and Spellbinders Grand Labels Four. I went with some fun but unconventional Christmas colors.

What a beautiful card Becca ….love the blue ribbon! I guess we need to start thinking Christmas …..right?
Love this card!! It is really beautiful thanks for sharing.
Love this card!! It is so beautiful. thanks for sharing.
What a cute card. I love the unconventionality of the colors. And you are quite talented with the Copics. Your designs always make me think in new directions. I’m off to search for frames :) Thanks for sharing.
I love this unconventional Christmas card! The colors are so pretty together. Great job Becca!!!!
This card is right up my alley, Becca! You’ve inspired me to start my Christmas cards in July (I’ve never done that before.)
Love this card Becca it’s so good that it’s a bit different from the usual type of Christmas card.
Love Sheila xx
This is so pretty! Wonderful design and colors.
Becca! This looks like such a FUN CARD!!!!!! Makes me think of a circus! You know, things all kids like! JUST LIKE CHRISTMAS!!!!! LOL :) SUPER JOB, as you ALWAYS DO!!!!!! :)
I love the colors and design techniques you used on this bright cheery holiday card. As always, another marvelous creation by you. I just wish I had half your creativity. I was in Michaels yesterday and did a store wide search for the frames. Unfortunately I had no luck in finding them.
How darling is this??!! Simply adorable! I am such a HUGE fan of polka dots!
This is gorgeous! The colors you used are fab, and your copic coloring is perfect! I love JR stamps, every one of them!
I tripped right off to my Michael’s store, but was greatly disappointed. No frames, and no copic markers! I’ve been in many Michael’s store, and I’m sorry to say the one where I live in Johnson City, TN, is by far the worst! It’s in a constant state of total disorganization, and the employees are not the friendliest either! So sad, because I love the other Michael’s stores. I wish you could order from their website!
Beautiful, Becca! Love the colors and all the wonderful layers!
I love the colors of the paper and how you matched the copic markers to the paper. Wonderful as always.
i love those bright colors and the sparkly paper. if you’ve got to do Christmas in july i like using those instead of the traditional reds and greens. great card!
I can’t believe that Christmas is just 1/2 a year away. Wow! This is a cheery, magical card that captures the fun of the season. I like the idea of having the pennant as part of the layering. Who wudda thunk? Well you, of course, Becca. Nicely done.
What a wonderful card! The colors make me thing of a fun party. Love the new stamps as well. Can’t wait to see what the others have come up with.
Blessings Bernie
Becca, I really love the unconventional Christmas colors you chose for the adorable card! The clean and simple style really makes you stamped image “pop”.
AAACKKK!!! Girl it’s only June yet…… too early to be thinking Christmas!!! Very pretty card, but too early for me to think Christmas!!! lol
Love it….you’re making me in the mood to start Christmas cards!!!
Loving everything about that card. The stamp, the ribbon, the paper!
Whew! I’m about ready for winter – weather that is – this is our 34th day of temperatures over 100!
This is absolutely darling! Such a cute and different take on the winter/Christmas card.
Wow what a pretty card, makes me want to start my Christmas cards already!
Really great card. Your bows are always so amazing.
Beautiful card! I plan to try one of those frames as soon as I can get to Michael’s or Joann’s and find a few frames. I’ll look at the dollar store, too. I think those frames will be perfect little Christmas gifts to have on hand for female friends and family.
Love your use of the Spellbinder’s label at the top and the new stamps are adorable!
Hi Becca,
Oh, what a BEAUTIFUL card! I love all the bright colors and how you used the Copic markers! So inspiring…thanks!
BECCA I HAVE HALF OF MY CHRISTMAS CARDS DONE ALREADY
BUT YOUR CARD TODAY IS REALLY PRETTY.
CYNTHIA
Well…not your usual very elegant style, but a very cute card! You are observing your latest rule very well to keep it simple! Showing us that simple certainly doesn’t mean plain! Keep up the good work.
Always like “just clean and simple”. II get a chuckle when I read this, because my CAS is never this gorgeous! TFS.
Just beautiful! Is it time for Christmas cards already?? Where has the year gone? Thanx, Becca, for getting us thinking about the future!
I love this one Becca. The new releases are precious and you have colored it so bright and cheery. I also love that dp with the colorful dots. Boy, I DO need to get started on Christmas cards but my hands have been so full with Bruce, it is hard to even stay caught up with month to month bd cards. LOL Send up a prayer for me, I need all I can get!!
I always love Just Rite Christmas images and these are no exception but your card is beautiful as well
Wow! Who thought of Christmas in June. Cute card.
It is another beautiful card Becca…and again your bows are amazing.
Thank you!
Jane
What a beautiful card! I guess we are getting ready for Christmas in July!
Your card is so bright and happy. Still lots of wonderful embellishments :o)
Love the unusual colours and it is a great little image.
Hugs, Candy
Nooooooooo, it’s only going on July. We had such a horrible winter. I don’t want to see Christmas yet…LOL. I do love your card though. The colors look awesome together. Didn’t see the frames at my Michael’s in the dollar bin. Next week after the holiday celebrations are over, I’m going to look again. I want to make a pin cushion too. Thank you for the how to video. :-)
Happy Independence Day Becca and bloggy friends !
Super card Becca — love the polka dot background paper!
What a great card, Becca. I really like the partial label at the top and though I’m a traditionalist when it come to Christmas colors, I really like this card. These Christmas colors really work!
I work so slowly that it is none too soon to be thinking about Christmas cards. Thanks Becca…this is a cute card/non traditional but still festive.
Even if the weather is cold at Christmas, this card will certainly bring some warmth! It is lovely :o)
Hugs

Hi Becca, I just love your cards! They are so pretty and you use so many different types of layers… you are just an inspiration. Anyway, I am trying to do a banner like yours and I can’t seem to get the layer points to look even. Can you share your expertise?
