Now, on to todays card. Oh how I love Victorian Houses. Michelle at Stampers Dream sent me this special one and it was a pure delight to color it up. Of course before delving into it I looked at pictures online and got carried away for hours sifting through pictures of restored victorian houses, what a piece of nostalgia and history. This one is from Impression-Obsession is called Victorian House and I swear anyone can color this because the shading is already done for you. I love this artist!
When I saw this stamp I thought it would make a perfect welcome home card (or house warming, or welcome to the neighborhood). Mine has a special side pocket and when you pull the tab, out comes a tag that says Welcome Home.
Now this is a large card at 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and I was tickled that I already have envelopes to work with that size card. For those who also ask what copic colors I used, I have them listed below.

Oh, Becca, this card is just gorgeous!! Love the pull-out message, and the copic coloring is fab! Another tear-jerker for me is Dirty Dancing. Love when he comes back and says Nobody puts baby in a corner!

i love victorian houses as well. I lived in an old brick victorian for a while. They are beautiful just like your card. The colors you chose and wonderful and the background paper – it looks just like wallpaper. Great card.

Your “Welcome Home” card is lovely. Love the colors and the stamp. I am just getting started with a collection of copic markers, and love that you have created a way to display the colors you used on your cards. How did you come up with that? Now back to your list of movies that make you cry, my favs are: Brian’s Song, Pay it Forward, and Marlee & Me ( the one that brings out the animal lover in me).
I don’t care how many times I see these, or the fact that I laugh through most of the movie, when the sad part hits I blubber like a baby!!!!! Have a great day, and keep on creating.

Oooh! tku for the colors, I always wonder how your stamped images look so lifelike. Hey, how about the movie, “Love Story”, boy I remember when I saw that in the theatre. As I was in line with my boyfriend, I saw so many people coming out with misty eyes and didn’t know why. Boy I hadn’t been warned about it beforehand and wasn’t ready for the tears!
Such a Lovely way to welcome someone home! I love that you’ve added the tag behind that gorgeous victorian house too.. clever girl you! OK, another fav of mine is “Terms of Endearment”.. I cannot watch this movie without a box of tissues by my side. I loved Jack and Shirley together and could imagine them as a ‘real life’ couple, they were great together! .. and who could forget Shirley running through the nurses station screaming “give my daughter the shot! I loved Jeff Daniels in dumb and dumber, but this was a more serious role and I thought he was great .. but the true star was Debra Winger, saying goodbye to her kids and the final moments when she looked her mom in the eyes and then passed OMG, I bawled like a baby! Very touching movie!~

Love the scroll punch. So…any idea where I can find one? Is it an older punch that they don’t make anymore? I’m still trying to get the Easy Craft Holder and cartridges. Hi Becca, luv the victorian house you never seem to amaze me with your talent. In regards to movies my all time favorite is the notebook such a beautiful love story.
Another movie that made me cry was an old movie…John Denver was in it and he sang “Sunshine on my shoulder…” Can’t remember if that was the name of the movie; anyway I must have used a whole box of Kleenex when the young lady died.
I love the Victorian house; I would love to own and decorate the inside of a house like the one on your card.

Love the card and diagonal detail with the hidden tag is cool. I cried my eyes out when I saw “The Way We Were” at its premiere too many years ago at Graumann’s Chinese Theatre in LA, CA. Robert Redford and Barbra Streisand, heartbreaking!
