Wishing you the Very Best

Birthday Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken using Spellbinders Corners and Accents Two over on www.amazingpapergrace.com
Good morning sweet friends, I have a birthday card to share today.  You may have figured out that style-wise, I love corners.  They make for some of the easiest cards that can be made because of all the configuration options they afford.  Four corners together make a faux background that you can frame giving you lots of possibilities.  The inspiration for my card came from this fairly new D-Lite, Spellbinders Corners and Accents Two.   I cut the die four times and used a glue dot on the far corners of the motif to square them up and make a frame.  For the interior part of the frame I used Spellbinders Marvelous Squares and I edged it with gold to give it a little bit of pop.  Then I popped up a small frame made using Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Squares and Spellbinders Classic Squares SM.

I used a set of stamps from Anna Griffin that was the perfect square size for my frame.  Then, finished up with pearls, flowers and a bow!

CRAFT SUPPLIES I USED
Rubber Stamps: Anna Griffin
Craft Paper: Neenah Classic Crest – Natural White – 80lb Smooth, Digital Paper from Iralamija
Ink: Versamark and Gold Detail Embossing Powder

Question Parking Lot:

Calli Medved on Comment #22 asked how to isolate the quadrant of digital paper to enlarge it.  Calli, it will depend on which application you use – if working in Photoshop you can open the .jpg then crop just the part of design paper you want then make sure your layer is unlocked.  Create a new blank page the size you want (my panel was cut down to 5-1/2″ square), drag your cropped design paper onto this new page and ‘control-t’ to transform it pulling on the handles to enlarge as needed.  Then print.  Other options include Photoshop Elements and Gimp or the print utility on Windows computers.  Hope this helps :-)

Such a beautiful card to greet us this morning. You are so creative and your ideas are lovely. The colors are so soft and feminine. Anyone would be happy to receive this. I would like to ask if it would be possible to add the finished size of your card to your printed information. Looking forward to seeing your next wonderful creation.ReplyCancel

Your cards are always very beautiful, with die cuts that you use to perfection. I have a question that I hope will not offend. You always give the layer information, but sometimes, in fact, quite often, it is very difficult to see what exactly you have done with the layers without doing tons of research to other sites to be able to ‘see’ the cuts you have used. If you could show in your post a picture of each cut as you mention them. I know, a lot more work for you.
I know you link in the supplies list, and that is helpful, but to be able to just see what you are explaining as you go would help so much.
    Thank you – JulieReplyCancel

I know I have some corners already cut and stored in my “Die Cuts” drawer. Going to go play with the possibilities. Thank you!ReplyCancel
