With Thanks

More things to share . . . I have two cards (and several more almost completed on my table), these fell victim to the migraine smackdown I told you about last week.  They languished on my desk only needing ribbon so it was a quick task to add the final touch and lighten my desk.  Both cards are new releases by Flourishes; the first is called Seasonal Wreaths.  You have to go check out this stamp set – the wreaths are absolutely dreamy.  Speaking of dreamy, they were quite easy to color using my Copics.

I wanted three wreaths so I colored them and cut them out with Spellbinders Standard Circles.  I also cut a mat with the newly released Spellbinders Labels 8.  Just to break up the three’s a little bit I added a border using Spellbinders Grand 12" Classic Lace.

Card Recipe:
Stamps:  Flourishes – Seasonal Wreaths
Paper:  MAMBI
Ink:  Memento Black Tuxedo
Accessories:  Spellbinders Classic Circles, Spellbinders Labels 8, Spellbinders Grand 12" Classic Lace, Ribbon, Pearls

I know many of you are waiting for a masculine card – oh.my.word. that is much easier said than done.  When I originally started, this was to be a masculine card . . . but then I couldn’t resist the ribbon.  This is another of the new sets this month with Flourishes called Cottage Home.  It’s another set that sits squarely in my favorites list.

The picture lent itself nicely to being masked in a Spellbinders Petite Ovals Large and Spellbinders Petite Scalloped Ovals Large combination.  Although I had to break it up – the sentiment fit nicely on one of the Spellbinders Fancy Tags.

Card Recipe:
Stamps:  Flourishes – Cottage HomE
Paper:  The Paper Company, Making Memories Vintage Findings
Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories:  Spellbinders Petite Ovals, Spellbinders Petite Scalloped Ovals, Spellbinders Fancy Tags, EK Success Moroccan Lace Border Punch, Ribbon

Thanks for stopping by to see me today.  Happy Stamping Friends!

The 2 new cards are fantastic – great work. The man card could have a group of ferns or leaves instead of the ribbon (if you wanted).

You’ve done it again, they are both marvelous. My Spellbinders list just gets longer and longer and longer. Have gotten some more recently, but the wallet cried STOP! So will save up the pennies again. I just knew that you wouldn’t be able to resist the ribbon and bow! But ya know, it still works, even for a guy. They are hard aren’t they?! Glad to hear that the migraine let go! They are horrible aren’t they?

You can never, ever go wrong with pink roses. What pretty cards! Like looking at all of your little touches and you always make me drool with your use of the spellbinders dies. Yep, your lovely man card took a nose dive with that luscious bow. But I can so see why that creation needed that ribbon. Happy Weekend!ReplyCancel

I love your cards because they have ribbons. Men don’t care if the card has a ribbon. However, they love color too. Too many cards for men have dark colors or nautical/car/sports themes. They have interesting ideas. Let’s give them some. If there is one person that I am confident that can make beautiful guy cards, it is you.

    Thanks for sharing.ReplyCancel
