Good morning friends, here’s to hoping your day is glorious! Sometimes in creating I kick about and don’t land on anything creatively until I pick a piece or a sentiment that resonates with me. If you’ve been around my blog a long time – that’s how I create – from the heart, it’s what’s going on in my life right now. That’s today – some days you’re sailing and some days you need a firm reminder to have faith and stay the course. I have to agree with the sentiment that I picked today from Quietfire Design – Worry. Isn’t that the wonderful thing though, sitting down with things so beautiful helps that sentiment settle on your heart. I’m definitely the beneficiary today.
I picked a 6″ x 6″ card base to make my card and set a filigree layer using a die I haven’t used in many moons, Spellbinders Filigree Delight. On top of that I layered the new Spellbinders Victorian Fan, using two to create a textured, embossed circle. On top of that I layered Spellbinders Classic Ovals LG flanked by Spellbinders Corners and Accents One.
Tip: When setting up layers for your cards, think in terms of stair steps with each bottom layer showing off the next layer up. That detail gives interest and will lead the eye in to the focal point.
Rubber Stamps: Quietfire Design – Worry
Craft Paper: Neenah Classic Crest 80lb Smooth – Natural White, Papertrey Ink – Sweet Blush
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black and Clear Embossing Powder, Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink
Accessories: Spellbinders Filigree Delight, Spellbinders Victorian Fan, Spellbinders Classic Ovals LG, Spellbinders Corners and Accents One, The Paper Studio Pearls and Gems, Button
Hoping todays sentiment is as uplifting for you as it is for me. I’ll see you tomorrow!!

Such a beautiful card. Love the soft colors and the beautiful bow. Thank you so much for sharing.
One can tell by your creations that you design from the heart. Lovely card today. Your sentiment today touches so many people. I’m glad creating beauty can calm you when you worry. I would not have picked out the fan part of your design today if you had not listed the dies you used. You have a great eye for design. You have been on my mind and in my heart this week. Wishing you a lovely weekend.
What a beautiful card and that sentiment could have not been so true! Thank you for sharing.
Beautiful card Becca with a favourite quote of mine. So very apt. Really love these soft colours! Hugs Christine Christine xx

It’s a beautiful sentiment Becca. One I needed to read today. Thank you for all of the beauty that you create.
Oh, Becca, your card is gorgeous. It is always amazing to see how you use your dies to make the most of them and spectacular projects. The saying is lovely and a great reminder for us
What a GORGEOUS CARD Becca!!!! I REALLY LIKE the sentiment & know it is true. I LOVE Corrie Ten Boom too! ;) And I LOOOOVE the little tid-bit of advice in layering also. Thanks Becca!! ;)
Hello Becca,
Your card is beautiful and the sentiment is so true.

Wow, this is an awesome card and the sentiment is so great!! Quietfire has some of the best sentiments I have ever seen. I think you must have been responsible for writing a lot of them, Becca.
The colors and dies you chose for this card are really unbelievable and I would love to know how you choose and put them together to assemble a card. Think you should offer a class (willing to pay) to teach some tips on how you decide on what to put together and why or how, etc. Would be worth every penny or dollar or whatever to learn from you. If I could get lined up with an establishment would you be willing to do it? Here in Florida of course! I have a place in mind. Really! You can answer me offline.
Thanks Becca.
Looking forward to tomorrow’s Friday Freebie deal.

If Becca would be willing I would love the opportunity to be included. I live in California and would be more than willing to fly to Florida…..
What a beautiful card! I love the Filigree Delight die! The sentiment is oh so true!
Such a beautiful card and sentiment too Becca, and I know, that´s why we all just loves your work so much, exactly because it comes from the heart and show sooo true to all of us.
I really love your amazing work and always feel sooo inspired, when I´ve seen some of yours. Keep them comming hun, keep them comming, and have a wonderful week-end ahead soon.
Lovely card and sentiment, Becca. Isn’t it grace that creating is like taking an hour of slow, deep breaths, calming our souls? And then you pass that along to the rest of us! Thank you!
What a soft lovely card with a perfect sentiment of encouragement to pass the worry on to the Lord who can guide us and enable us to handle those worrisome things that befall us. Being worry-free does give honor to the One who tells us not to! Beautiful card Becca!
Such a beautiful subtle card Becca, loving the Sentiment too.
God bless .

Absolutely beautiful!
A beautiful card today love the soft colours and the sentiment,it’s so true!
Written by a lovely lady ,Corrie Ten Boom. We met her in Bonn Bad Godesberg Germany were she talked about her life in a concentration camp, this was if I remember well in 1974/75 .
Take care Jane B.
Hi Becca, A card so exquisite it will work with other sayings, too. But I confess I purchased this stamp from Quietfire because there is nothing else like it in the market that I could find. And so appropriate for anyone dealing with issues–and who isn’t? Your filigree die from days gone by is one I pull out so often but never thought outside the box to put it on a square card and using a circular double fan die cuts on top of it. That’s why you get the big bucks for creativity–wish you did because you deserve it. Just a classy card from a classy lady. Thank you, Barbara Tranquilla
Such a beautiful card again today. Thanks for sharing!!
Hello Becca
I wish I could apply this at 3am in the morning when I’m wide awake, I think of all the things that I forget when I finally get up!
Absolutely love this card !
Thank you for more inspiration Becca!
Take care
Love Marg
Your card is lovely, & I completely agree with this sentiment too, so very true. Thanks for sharing your thought process, when making your beautiful cards. I love how detailed Spellbinders have become, the framing accents around the sentiment is so fine, like jewellery. When I think of Spellbinders earlier dies and how much now, that they’ve advanced, it’s amazing. You always inspire & make us think of even more ways to make the dies do so much more than our first glance impressions of the images, to hopefully make our cards look amazing too! Thank you xx
What lovely layers you have created today, Becca. This is a perfect encouragement card! So beautiful and elegant. Thank you so much for sharing it with us!
A really beautiful card Becca. The filigree delight die is one of my favourites.

Stunning card Becca! The sentiment is excellent… have not heard this quote before, but it’s so true. Your bow, as always is over the top perfect. I have almost all these dies. I’ll have to try my hand at something along this line. Thanks for sharing.
Wonderful sentiment and beautiful card Becca!!!!

This card is so beautiful Becca! I love the die cuts you used and I’m thrilled to say I own them. I can’t wait to try my version. This color combination is a favorite of mine too.
The sentiment is a wonderful reminder and one I personally needed to hear. I’m struggling with the pain from my injuries from my fall in January and worrying about how to get the pain under control. The sentiment you chose really touched my heart. God is my strength and worry gets in front of that strength BUT only if I allow it to! Thank you for including so much of your heart with us.
I love this sentiment. I am a worrier at heart but since being diagnosed with fibromyalgia, I am determined to not waste what little energy I have worrying but rather to use what energy I have being a strong productive woman! I am going to have to buy this sentiment to use on cards for my fellow sufferers.
Such a gorgeous card, Becca. I love how you layered the dies under the die cut sentiment. Filigree Delight was recognized right away…a favorite die of mine!
Beautiful card as always!!
Have a good day! Hugs!
Hi,
What a beautiful card and love all those layers.
Becca, what a beautiful card & the saying & is very good.
this is my fav of the new stamps. Thanks for showcasing Quietfire design!
Gorgeous! Thanks for the beautiful sentiment! And for mixing old a new dies.
Gorgeous card, fabulous layers, beautiful colors & lovely inspirational sentiment. Thank you!!
I almost missed this one. What a beauty and the saying is perfect!
Love Corrie Ten Boom. Another saying/ .. Rough paraphrase, is to not hold on so tight to things that if God decides to remove that that he won’t hurt or break your fingers when He removes or takes them away. Thank you. For your stair step tip. Beautiful card.
Good morning Becca, another beautiful gem!!! The sentiment is true!!! Love the way you
layer your cards!!!
Have a good one!!!

A beautiful card again, Becca,
and the sentiment is really one to keep in mind.
Hello Becca love the card you are amazing at using dies in so
many different ways.
Love the sentiment ! Quiet Fire have so many beautiful ones
to choose from for all needs. Love Pam XXX
Beautiful sentiment and lovely card.
Hi Becca. Wow I love your beautiful card today, from the dies to the sentiment and the colours you have used. Simply stunning. Hugs xxx
Hi Becca, Another stunning card. This sentiment is what I’m doing at the moment and I have been doing it all this week. I am a ‘born worrier’ and this week financial problems have erupted and talk about ‘stressville’ !!! These words are very true, but some of us (definitely me) can’t help but ‘worry’.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
This is again a very beautiful card, I love the layering, the use of the bow & flowers.
The sentiment is particularly meaningful to me. My mother used to worry because she had nothing to worry about. It really took over her life. I managed to “marry out” of that mindset. My husband very early into our marriage reminded me that worrying does no good, only makes things worse. I agreed with him & my life is now much more satisfying.
Oh my HOW True. THANK YOU FOR THE REMINDER
Praying for inspiration.
Wanda
Hi Becca,
How true. We let lifes worries bring us down. Sometimes a simple sentiment like this can make us see sense & help make us feel a little better.
I always love the different ways you put cards together, so beautiful.
God Bless x
