Hi there sweet friends! I’m sharing a new card today and also sharing the winner of the Venise Lace Die from this past weeks blog hop at the end of the post. If you have been peeking in at my card making some time then you know that from way back, cream and gold is my go to color. When I get a new set of dies, the first thing I do is make the cream and gold version and then dip my toes into some other combinations. More often than not, what I’m really looking for when I’m playing is an alternate way to use the dies. Today I turned Isabella Frame on point and wrapped the edges around a 3″ piece of card stock. It almost makes it a totally different die. :-) To match that vertical feel I picked Francesca Label for a beautiful sentiment from Quietfire Design – Worry. As always the sentiment speaks to me – this is one I love to pull out as a reminder.
As promised, I wanted to publish the name of the winner from this weeks blog hop. We offered a free die to a reader to leave a comment on each blog of the Amazing Paper Grace Creative Team on the July 11th post. A name was picked from each blog and then a name picked from the six names. Here’s the winner!! All you need to do is reach out through my contact tab, with your address and die choice from my Venise Lace Collection.
Stamps: Quietfire Design – Worry
Paper: Neenah Classic Crest – Natural White – Cover – 80lb smooth, Gold Poster Board
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black Ink and Ranger Super Fine Detail Clear Embossing Powder
Accessories: Venise Lace, Spellbinders Isabella Frame, Spellbinders Francesca Label, PL-001 Platinum™ Die Cutting And Embossing Machine with 8.5″ Platform, The Paper Studio – Pearls, May Arts Silk Ribbon

Your card, this werk, Becks is lovely. I’m a huge fan of cream and gold too. Love the sentiment too. I see a bit of an art deco look, perhaps because of the way you stacked the layers.
Sandra, I hope you are feeling better sweet pea. Saying a prayer for you that your health is maintained and you are restored. Sending hugs!!
Such a beautiful card, as always!
Becca, such a beautiful card and creative use of the die. The sentiment was very relevant to me as I contemplate having to put my fur baby Bentley down due to kidney failure on Monday. It certainly was fitting for me to read.
Claire, I know it was a difficult thing to do. Our fur babies are a big part of our families. I’m so sorry for your loss. Saying a prayer for you to get you through this hard time. Hugs!
