Good morning blog friends! Although my favorite card is 5 1/2″ by 7″ sometimes, it is absolutely delightful to make a smaller profile card. Of course it becomes a ‘no-brainer’ when the card is easy ;-). Well that’s what I have for you today. I’m using one of the new decorative profile dies that lends itself very well to making small (to me) shaped card. Using Spellbinders™ Timeless Rectangles I simply cut with a fold at the top so that I have a hinge. Next I cut the right sized rectangle to fit from Spellbinders™ 5×7 Matting Basics B and while still in the die stamped with a new JustRite Papercrafts background stamp – Antique Damask Background. To set the sentiment (For All You Do Vintage Labels Three) apart from the background I added a little flourish element from Spellbinders™ Fleur de Lis Accents and popped the sweet rounded tag from Spellbinders™ Framed Tags One on top. The final card is 4″ wide by 6″ tall. Sweet and easy :-)
Since this is a smaller sized card, I downsized my ribbon and went with 1/4″ silk ribbon by May Arts – I love the drape and a little multi-loop bow tied on the Becca’s Bow Maker makes the perfect sized embellishment. Don’t get me wrong, I still love my wide ribbon but I have fallen in love with this smaller size.

Lovely Becca! Do you run your folded cardstock through the GC at one time? How do you create the hinge?
I love this card. It is so fresh and springy (is that really a word?). It really makes me feel happy when I look at it!
You certainly outdid yourself on this one. You call it easy. I being a part of the dull normals population would call it a challenge. It’s all a matter of perspective. Back to the card… it is pure loveliness in every respect. Thanks so much for sharing your abundant talent with us. You are one very generous lady.
I love your cards, but wished you would do more video’s!
What a stunningly gorgeous card Becca. I love everything about it!
Hi Becca! Absolutely beautiful card, yet again. I’m in awe. I’m also curious about how you made the hinge on this delicate card? I can think of several ways, but none seems perfect. I hope you’ll share your method with us.

Love this card. How did you cut with a fold? Love your work.
Oh, Becca! It is beautiful, as always!!! I am always amazed at your talent. If I had more than a couple of dies, I would get overwhelmed, and never be able to make a decision on what to put together. Yet, you seem to just be able to look at one, and have a beautiful design pop into your head. I love it! Thank you, again for sharing your talent with us!
Another gorgeous card! Love the lacy edges!
This one is a winner! You’re such a talented lady and thank you for sharing with all of us.
How do you make the fold at the top to make this a hinged card? Very pretty.
This card is BEAUTIFUL!!! I just love the dainty little loops on the bow!!! I look at all of your magnificient creations but this one stole my heart!! May God continue to bless you with your talents and thank you for sharing them with us!
I think a few of us are puzzled by the same question…how do you hinge the card? Another stunning creation by the superbly talented Becca!
Love these beautiful intricate dies for making cards. Gives so much interenst to the simplest design. Hinging is not a problem for me, but how do you emboss? When I open my card, I do not like the de-bossed side you get on the inside. Is there a trick to this Becca? I would love to see the inside of one of these cards to see how you finish off the inside.

Beautiful, beautiful card!! The color is just wonderful and I love the lace, as always! Such an inspiration!
Absolutly stunning so elegant .Melanie
Another beautiful card! I really love the Timeless Rectangle; you always make fancy cards seem so easy. This is a die I will have to get. Thanks for continuing to inspire us!
Becca, how do you cut out on a fold? Maybe that would make a nice tutorial or do you already have one for that technique?
The card is beautiful (as always).
Thank you for all your work and for sharing with us. Hugs from Nebraska.
Another Beautiful card. I love the color blue on it and lace edging also. What fun it would be to play in your craft room with all those Spellbinder dies!!!

I just love this card. Everything about is what I like doing. Haven’t got the fancy rectangles yet but must look out for them. The colour is “delicious” and nearly always use this thinner ribbon. Thank you so much again for the inspiration.
the lovely frame makes it look so dainty and elegant!!
Loving the filigree edges and that lush bow
Wow!! Love it!
Such a beautiful card! Just wanted to tell you, I ordered two of your kits and absolutely love them. I recently had surgery and am still not driving (6 weeks) and have been having a ball playing! The surgery I had was my 2nd Heart Transplant. Yes, second. The wild thing is that I got the call for the new heart on the 20th Anniversary of the first heart Transplant. I believe God is sending me a message, at least in timing. Thank you for all your inspiration!!!
Hi Becca, I love you cards, you have so much talent, I love it!!!
