Hello there sweet blog friends! Today is a glorious day and I hope you are basking in it. I’m elbow deep in a bunch of projects and I hope that in the near future you’ll be able to see what I do when I’m not actively blogging. On top of that, I seem to be renovating every corner of my life – I knew it would happen when the time was right, and not before — so stay tuned. In the mean time, I wonder how many of you have local stamp stores and local scrapbooking stores? I’m big on local support and my closest local stamp store is an online store — I have a teeny bit of driving to get there, but it’s a treat knowing that so much creativity is going on right down the road from me. My local online stamp store is Flourishes — in Pensacola, Florida. I’m on the teaching roster for a one day class that will be held there on April 20th, 2013. It’s an intimate little studio setting and my goal is to take the stress out of bows. If you interested, check out the details —–> HERE. In the meantime, I received some little Flourishes goodies and I whipped up this card – perhaps, just perhaps it had a little bit to do with my spring fever as well :-)
I created my card base using Spellbinders™ 5×7 Matting Basics A using the technique that I showed you on how to make a Hinged Card. I used Spellbinders™ 5×7 Matting Basics B for the layers then covered the top layer with my favorite lace. This window, Spellbinders™ Window Two simply speaks my name! I filled it with flowers and pearls and added a bow. A hand cut banner spans the bottom with a sentiment from Inside & Out – You.
SUPPLIES I USED |

You all bless me!! I am so grateful, I just can’t say it enough :-) Blessed wishes, always!
Becca where do you buy your lovely lush silk ribbons and your lace from? I just made the box with Enchanted Labels 28 lid and the infamous digital print out card set and your Filigree Delight gate fold card and sent them to my sister for her Birthday. Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful creations and your step by step tutorials and videos. I had to change my card somewhat as I didn’t have any ribbon that worked but it was I’m sure the nicest card I have ever made. The card took me hours to make so I have a new appreciation for the number of show stopping creations you turn out. Thanks Ann
OH BECCA!!!!!!!!! YOU are a VERY “LUCKY” LADY!!!!!!!!! I can ONLY IMAGINE a Stamping Store just down the street from me! AND FLOURISHES to boot???? YOU are BLESSED INDEED!!!!!!! :)
Your card is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It would make a FABULOUS WEDDING CARD too!!!!!!!!!! :) (Just change the sentiment!) You ALWAYS do the MOST WONDERFUL WORK BECCA!!!!!!!!!! :)
Becca, This is so beautiful. I love that lace! Thanks for sharing this with us.
It’s gorgeous and I will miss being at Flourishes this time, I know all of you will have a fabulous time.
Another GORGEOUS card! Will you be coming to Orlando for the Stampfest or Scrapbook Expo? Would love to meet you one day. I just love all of your beautiful creations and please keep them coming!
This is a truly beautiful card. I have some of that lace and used it with red and black to make a sympathy card and it turned out really nice. People really appreciate it when someone they love passes and they get a personal touch card that they could never find in a store. It means an awful lot to them. I would love it if you were coming to Orlando for the Scrapbook Expo. Maybe you could answer in another blog if you will be there or not.

Love the lace element!

Becca, this card is absolutely beautiful! It should be framed! Thank you, for your inspiration. Blessings to you!

P.S. I have to say I do miss my monthly card kit, but am soooo enjoying your frequent posts!
It’s … hubba da hubba da hubba da…. glorious!
Hi Becca,
Todays card is another beauty. I like it because it is so soft and pink and feminine.
I have NO store near me at all :o) I do all my shopping online.
I am lucky I can do that – but I sure do wish I could wonder through stores to see all the papers and embellishments – it would be a huge treat for me.
Hugs, Candy
Becca, a lovely card, as always, with all your exquisite touches. I was interested to learn Flourishes is in Pensacola. We lived there 2 yrs (66-67) while Hubby was in the navy. Dtr was born at NAS. It’s been a long time since we were in Pensacola – Good luck with your new teaching assignment. Wish I were close enough to take a class! TFS
Another BEAUTIFUL creation. You never cease to amaze me with your creativiy. We only have Joann’s and Michael’s. I patiently wait each year for the Scrapbook Expo to come in March. It is so nice to see all the new and beautiful items. I save all year for this pleasure. Also do alot of online purchasing. Have a beautiful day.
I have had some wide lace sitting in my craft drawer for years. Couldn’t think of what to do with it. Now I have an idea. Thanks Becca
Your card is gorgeous. Lovw the lace background. I haven’t used my window die yet. Thanks for the inspiration.
Becca, your card is beautiful!! I always love your cards and this one is just gorgeous. Thanks for always sharing your talent with us.
Becca, This is one of the most beautiful cards I have ever seen! Sure wish someone would send one like that to me! Take care and thanks for always sharing your creations! Hugs, Magi
Becca;
Love your card. It is outstanding. I had to try making one like it. Mine didn’t turn out as nice as yours but it was fun trying to make it. Thanks so much for sharing your talent.
Sadly, the stamping and scrapbooking stores in our area have been closed for some years now. We have the big box stores – JoAnns, Michaels, AC Moore – within a 10 minute drive, but their selection isn’t great, especially for someone who has been stamping for as many years as I have. There is also Hobby Lobby, but that’s a 35 minute drive by expressway, so we don’t go often. I do love their paper selection, though. So many different and unusual papers. Not that I need any more . . .
Your card is so lovely – beautifully feminine with its pink and white. Thanks for sharing it.
Another fan wondering if you will be at the Expo in Orlando.
Your work is stunning … if I could create cards a quarter good as yours’ I would be ecstatic!
Sooo GORGEOUS! the wide lace is a gorgeous base!!
This is just soooooooo gorgeous too Becca. YOu always makes such gorgeous cards, and I soo love your lace and your gorgeous bow here too. And as usual your colors are sooo soft and wonderful.

Yet again another showstopping card! a beautiful masterpiece from one of the best!

Oh how I wish I was closer to Florida!!
I have a wonderful locally owned stamping store that I can go to anytime located in Boiling Springs, NC. It is a great place to get new ideas, see new products, learn new techniques and just have fun stamping. The owners are wonderful Christians and you feel that warmth on a daily basis when you enter the store! Love your card!
Gorgeous, I have often wondered how I could use my wide laces, never thought of using it for the background, lovely pearl accenting too!
So very pretty, Becca!

yet another great card, I wish you had the time to post a new card everyday. My day would be great if I could start out with your inspiration on a regular basis. Love your work as always.
Have a great week!
Becca you did an excellent work again and as always. Thank you for sharing.
Becca what a beautiful card. I love it. I always get such inspiration from your cards. You are so talented. I would love to take a class with you. Have a blessed day.
What a fabulous card Becca!! You brightened my day when I opened my email and saw this lovely creation :D Unfortunately for me my favorite hometown scrapbook store closed, but have a Hobby Lobby and Michael’s, although they aren’t able to carry the variety that the scrapbook store did. Have fun with your Flourishes class, wish I could be a part of that!!
If I had no limits on my time or budget, I would be at your Flourishes class. It sounds like a dandy and it would be lovely to meet you and the wonderful folks at Flourishes.
You’ve wowed us again with a delightful pink, lacy beauty. It’s always a big treat to visit your site to see what scrumptious card you’ve created. Thanks again for all you do. Be well. Francie
Becca,
I have been an artist for all of my life and I just started to dabble in card making.
I don’t have a blog but my good friend and mentor posts my creations on hers.
I must say you are so very talented and I enjoy your work tremendously.
I am slowly collecting all of the many embellishments and I do make my own.
I want to thank you for the efforts you put forth and for the information you share so easily.
I just ordered, made and received 80# Neenah paper that you seem to use on many of your cards…It truly makes a difference!
Thanks again and G-d bless
Beautiful card! It calls out to me!
Hi Becca, just discovered your beautiful blog and the amazing creations you have made. It is such a treasure trove of inspiration, with fantastic step by step guides. Thank you soo much Becca. I live in Ireland and envy your locals who will be able to attend your workshop!
Hugs
Alice
Not only do I adore your cards they are always amazing but I love the way they are photographed as well. All to often I make a card and once I’ve taken the picture the card has to go to its new home, when I review the picture its looks nothing like the card I made!
I love the just rite products and of course my spellbinders just finishing my new storage and have boxed my 300 sets into blank DVD boxes. What a task but worth it now when I see one of your beautiful cards I know by just a glance if I own those dies.
Keep up the good work can’t wait to see what you are designing next.
All the best Pauline from co.armagh n.ireland
Thank you for you beautiful work! You and your designs are a daily inspiration to me!
I love this feminine, elegant card. The lace is so beautiful, along with all your elements. Most of our local scrapbooking stores closed before the “craze” with all the paper crafting and mixed media. We do have an art store that carries alot of the paper lines and art supplies which I support weekly! Thanks again for sharing your beautiful creations with us.
Cindy
Those lucky enough to live close to attend your class are soooo lucky. This card really makes a statement of love and care with the lovely colors and lace you used. Your creativity ceases to amaze me. Many thanks for all you do.
