Hey there!! Christmas shopping is done right? Not!! Just checking, lol!!. I have a card to share today before I need to get some pressing Christmas business done. In the meantime, squeeeeezing in another Christmas card using the new Christmas sets from Our Daily Bread Designs. This one is called Christmas Blessings. I made a peek-a-boo window for the sentiment and used Spellbinders Labels Seventeen as my focal panel. After I had the card pieces ready to go, I decided I wanted to add a third color – black. Instead of having to rework the entire card, I added a panel in black to the back of the card to give it a little bit of accent color. I’ve never done that before and I like it!!
I added a row of scallops in my accent color using Spellbinders Classic Scallop Borderabilities Petite and more accent on the inside of my window using Spellbinders Lotus Borderabilities Petite. I had to go with the green button just to keep it in the Christmas mold. By the way, I found the funnest thread at Michaels. It’s luscious embroidery thread that has wire in it. Go figure!! I threaded it through my button and then was able to do those crazy squiggles. I’m saving up for the other colors!!

Nice new website……..I have to get use to getting around on the site. Looks good!!! Beautiful card too! You always out do yourself. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Thanks for taking the time to show us all your creations during this busy time.
I just read the previous post and feel so bad that I can’t see the different website! Oh the joy of poor eyesight. I’ve been looking and looking ever since you mentioned you’d be changing things! LOL!! I kept thinking it looked a little different, but I wasn’t sure it was enough to really be the change you would be doing. Oh well… I’m used to not seeing things. This is such a beautiful card!!! I’m glad I can still see it fairly well. TFS!
Absolutely breathtaking Becca! Love the pink color and the peek-a-boo window! Merry Christmas!!!
I too can’t see the difference on your beautiful website, the way I see it, no changes are needed. Yet another FAB card Becca. Not long to go now before he arrives :) xx

Becca, I love this card! I have to get that thread! I also need to purchase the Our Daily Bread and Just Rite stamps that you use. This will be my New Year’s resolution–to purchase more of these particular stamps. Merry Christmas and many blessings!
Another “amazing” card Becca thanks for sharing
WOW! That is a beauty! Love the window and the COLORS are GORGEOUS! Have a blessed day and Merry Christmas!
Absolutely beautiful card Becca, it looks very 3D almost like the spellbinders shape is cut from mat board (the stuff they use to mat framed pictures). Best wishes for your Chrismas preparations I hope they go smoothly.
I have to post again. Went back for a closer look at that window and can’t quite figure it out. You are going to have to show me what you did!!
A magnificent, unique, rich and warm card Becca. That sentiment so complements your work.
Have a beautiful, relaxed Christmas with your family and friends and don’t forget to tell them how much WE all appreciate you! May God continue to richly bless you for many, many years to come.

Oh Becca…beautiful as always girlfriend. I so enjoy your amazing talent and creations. Have a blessed Christmas and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers throughout the holiday season…May the joy of the Lord be your strength for this first Christmas without the one you love…Thanks for sharing & Blessings. Wanda
I STILL cant see any difference. But I love the card. Like a couple of the other ladies, I am going to have to make it a point to purchase some of the ODB stamps. I love the sentiments they have been presenting to us. I go to their website and drool constantly.
Merry Christmas to everyone and may the new year bring many blessings to all.
I like it, too! Another thing that always amazes me, besides you, Becca, is the ingenuity shown by the manufacturers of products for the stamping industry. It seems their talent for creating things we NEED that we never knew we had to have is infinite…praise the Lord. The wired embroidery thread or what you did with it, anyway, did catch my eye. Very clever and a gorgeous card over-all.
Dear Becca, I think your first poster of the day must be related to an eye Doctor, because now we are all rushing to the phone for an appt. with our Dr.’s saying, “I must get right in to see the Dr.. Something is wrong with my eyes, I can’t see the changes in Becca’s blog. Help Me, Help Me, Please!!!” lol Linda S. in NE
Everything you make is always so beautiful, now I have to go to Micheals and find that thread, thanks for shareing Becca. God Bless, Diane
Lovely & creative!!

BECCA BECCA I JUST LOVE THE RICH COLORS YOU USED FOR THIS CARD

BEAUTIFUL. ALSO THANKFUL FOR YOUR BACK TO MAKING CARDS AGAIN.
YOU ARE A SPECIAL PERSON WILLING TO SHARE ALL YOUR TALENT.
MAKE GOD BLESS YOU FOR THAT.
CYNTHIA
Becca, I’ve GOT to ask, do you ever trash a card? Do you ever create a total and complete dud? Have a disaster that there is NO fixing? Everything you post is just so completely gorgeous. Obviously you are going to post what you consider your best work, so just wondered if you ever “missed”! Wishing you the joy of Christmas, and thanks for being so talented and willing to share!
Hugs,
R/

So happy to see someone else use black on their Christmas cards. I did some and thought they were lovely. Have a Merry Christmas. I know you are at a loss with John being gone. But look at it this way he is sing Silent Night with Real Angels now. And seeing the face of our Lord.
Beautiful card. Your site changed!!! Does that mean I’m the first commenter? No one else seemed to have mentioned it
Well that’s weird, it changed then when I went back it was back to the old format. Someone is messing with me…lol
Uh-oh, I see changes!
Hi Becca,
I see that your profile picture is now on the opposite side of your blog. Is this the change that you were hoping that your followers would pick up on?
