Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken using JustRite Quilted Circles Background and Spellbinders Majestic Circles
Good morning friends and a happy spring morning to you too!  Today is Day 3 of new releases at JustRite Papercraft and I have a silvery card to share with my take on two of the new sets.  The new sets have a cute and quilt-y feel, there are tons of possibilities from casual to dressy.  I put together a dressy card using the Quilted Circles Cling Background Stamp embossed with silver embossing powder and embellished with pearls.  I also used Spellbinders Corner Flourish Two, Spellbinders Majestic Circles and Spellbinders Gold Ivy along with the JustRite’s Cupcake Stand dies (used along the top part of my card).
WRBF-4229-2014
The sentiment is from this months release called Home Tweet Home.

You Can Make This Card Too:  Start out with a hinged card base sized 5-1/2″ x 7-1/4″.  Here are the rest of the layers from the bottom up.  Matted panel from silver cut to 5-1/8″ x 6-7/8″ and white cut to 5″ x 6-3/4″  – adhere to card base using foam tape.  Matted panel from silver cut to 4-5/8″ x 5-5/8″ and stamped white panel cut to 5-3/4″ x 4-1/2″.  Using largest die cut from JustRite Cupcake Stand, score 1-1/4″ from long edge then wrap die around top of the last matted panel and adhere all to base using foam tape.  Add die cut layer using four Corner Flourish Two dies arranged with point facing outward – adhere to base using foam tape.  Add die cut layer using Majestic Circles with stamped sentiment – adhere to base using foam tape.  Add die cut layer using Gold Ivy with center removed – adhere to card base using foam tape. Embellish with a bow, button and pearls.

Easter Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken Using Waltzingmouse Stamps - The Good Egg, Spellbinders Divine Eloquence and Tranquil Moments
Hi there sweet friends!  Today I’m blogging both here and on the Waltzingmouse Design Team blog.   I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to make something totally fun for Easter.  Yes, it involves pink, yes it involves bunnies, yes it involves candy….my work is done!  So here on my blog I’m showing the card I made for my ensemble.  I say ensemble because I made something really sweet and easy to match the card.  That something (and pattern) is over on the Waltzingmouse Stamps Design Team Blog – for the specific post, click HERE.

WRBF-4225-2014
So for my card I stacked die templates like crazy.  The bottom layer of dies is Spellbinders A2 Divine Eloquence and on top of that I stacked Spellbinders A2 Tranquil Moments.  I’m using the same speckled design paper and pink ruffled ribbon as for my matching item.  The card uses one of my favorite Waltzingmouse Stamps sets called  A Good Egg.   The egg shape and banner were cut out using Waltzingmouse Cut Files in A Good Egg Bundle – all the egg shapes are in the stamp set so you can fussy cut too!

CRAFT SUPPLIES I USED
Rubber StampsWaltzingmouse Stamps – A Good Egg
Craft Paper: Neenah Classic Crest – Smooth – Natural White, The Paper Studio, Pink
Ink: Fresh Ink – Sugar
Accessories:  Spellbinders A2 Divine EloquenceSpellbinders A2 Tranquil Moments, The Paper Studio Pearls, Silk Ribbon, Grand Calibur Die Cut Machine

Thanks so much for stopping by . . . don’t forget to pop over to Waltzingmouse Team Talk Blog.  While you’re over there don’t forget to download the free pattern with instructions so you can make your own :-)

Well, the time is here!!  I’m tickled to say that the new Spellbinders Die Templates we previewed in January are now shipping out!  To celebrate I’ve created a couple of projects to share along with step-by-step tutorials so that when yours end up in your mailbox, you’ll have some ideas to go along with them.   After my tutorial there will be a chance for you to win big prizes sponsored by Spellbinders be sure to look for the highlighted sweepstakes link at the bottom of my post.  Don’t forget to leave a comment here too – if you like these projects I’ll know to create more along the same lines.

One of my favorite new die templates is S6-010 5 x 7 HEIRLOOM LEGACY which is another fabulous set in the Card Creator series!  If you’re a frequent visitor you know how I love to make ensembles that include boxes, so first up is my first up is my Heirloom Gift Card and Heirloom Scarf Gift Box.  I give lots of scarves as gifts so I wanted to create a matching ensemble to accommodate both the card and a box large enough for a scarf.

My next project is an Earring Stand.  I used inexpensive wooden frames from Hobby Lobby and lined them with screen that I had spray painted white.  They were made into a stand by adding a hinge at the top!  I finished up by cutting the largest die from S6-010 5 x 7 HEIRLOOM LEGACY and spray painting it white as well.  No project would be complete without pearls, bows and flower embellishments.  A truly easy project and one made for a gift.  Let me know if you want to see the tutorial to this one too!!

Oh Becca, you have once again out done yourself. Your projects are just fabulous. . . . and I love your new tutorial format as well. Tutorial is very easy to follow and can be easily downloaded and copied for future use. I have to say, your ear ring stand is so clever and such a beautiful decorative accent piece either bedroom or bathroom. Loved all three projects !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the first reveal that I did not place a huge pre-order for spellbinders. I hate that CHA is just days after Christmas. I need a little more time monitarially recoup after Christmas to save up for this event, since I can never stop with just a few of the die sets.
